We were hoping for a nice trip with our group today and unfortunately we were greeted in a very rude and unfriendly manner by the owner of the farm. There wasn't even a "hello" from him, just unfriendly words.The concept with the animals is quite nice, I have to say, they are kept and cared for very well there. The owner's wife and the young man who also looks after the animals and guests there were very nice.However, we all asked the farm owner how someone could act so bitter towards our group, since we also paid quite a lot of money for the trip and our stay there. I expect at least friendly and polite interaction.We tried not to let it ruin our day, but the owner made it difficult for us.Because even during the hike itself, the farm owner made unnecessary comments in our direction and at the end of our day trip, when saying goodbye, he just said a stupid thing instead of a normal “bye.”It's really a shame that as the owner of the farm you think you can take something like that out of it.But as I said, at least the wife and the younger man there were friendly.However, I am currently too disappointed by the owner's rude behavior to recommend it.

It's always nice to be here.Everything just fits... very kind and warm hosts, beautiful accommodation, lots of great animals and the idyllic surroundings. It's a great place to switch off.

We were there for the Alpaca Fluff weekend. You feel very welcome, the house is a dream, the care is great and the animals are simply wonderful. We had a wonderful weekend.

I was able to spend a very nice weekend in the lovingly furnished farmhouse. From the first minute I felt very comfortable. The warm welcome and the fantastic surroundings enriched me greatly. I would like to thank you very much for the many animal moments and the trust that I was allowed to be so close to the animals. I'm looking forward to the next time... Thank you so much... 🤗

I got one from my husband today for mine. Received this hike as a gift for my birthday. A great experience, very nice hosts who blew us away with their attitude towards animals and their protection. We were able to ask a lot of questions and get great answers. After the hike there was a drink and you were then allowed to feed the alpacas and other animals. A great morning, we'll be back

We had a wonderful weekend of fluff.Let's start right away by entering the courtyard. The big gates close behind you and you feel like you are in another world. Directly at one with the farm and the animals. Thanks to Sylvia's loving greeting, we were right in the middle of it, instead of just there. Fantastic!Through the stable through the door into the “inner courtyard” to the holiday apartments. As soon as the door to the stable closes, you feel like you are in a small village. A beautifully furnished courtyard with seating and sunbathing options!Our holiday apartment, the farmhouse, is furnished with so much attention to detail. We immediately felt comfortable. Sleeping in the alpaca blankets was a dream!Dear Eileen gave us a warm welcome and let us take part in every activity on the farm. My personal highlight is bringing the lovely cuddly donkeys into the stable.It was also really nice that we were allowed to move freely around the farm and the meadows. Simply sit in the sun with the pigs or enjoy the sun on the large meadows with the alpacas and llamas.Our fun weekend included a trekking tour. We were out with the Aplakas in the area for at least one and a half to one and three quarters of an hour. When we returned we were welcomed with muffins, fruit and sweets as well as drinks. We had a picnic with the alpacas and then made ourselves comfortable in the front part of the farm with the goats and pigs. Those three hours really just flew by!You were able to learn so much about the animals and were allowed to participate everywhere.Sylvia and Fred always tried to make sure we were doing well. And they managed to do this until we left.We are already looking forward to our next weekend of fun and are planning it for the future.

Had a really nice weekend with an overnight stay. We were able to attend feeding, ask all sorts of questions, hike with alpacas and relax in the accommodation. Hosts are super nice and open-minded. Overall great weekend, would do it again. :)

A pretty farm where the animals lack for nothing! The hike is a very nice experience where you can learn a lot about the animals. The owners and employees are very friendly, competent and love what they do there! We'll definitely come back.

If you want to go on a short hike with alpacas through the forest, then you're in good hands here. You can also take llamas if you like. Nice environment in the nature reserve. The farm where the animals live is in excellent condition and if I were an animal, I would also want to live here. 😀🌻 Everything is harmonious here. A visit is always worth it and there is a lot on offer.

A beautiful place. Warm and incredibly animal loving. A paradise for animals.The alpaca hike we booked was a lot of fun. At the end there was a tour of the farm including feeding the animals. The alpaca baby, who was less than 24 hours old, was the highlight. A great place for a relaxing day to unwind. Very nice owners who were there to help and advise. We can only recommend this farm. 👍😊

I wouldn't book again!Apart from the fact that packages sent to guests are simply opened by the owners, they then draw completely narrow-minded conclusions from the contents.I travel a lot to trade fairs (and therefore public toilets) for work. You use prophylactic measures to avoid catching anything.The owners then put on a completely paranoid show. The verbal misfires in the emails really indicate a need for therapy. Then meaningless confirmations were requested from doctors and at times that were very difficult to achieve. During the journey to book the holiday apartment for the second time (which I very much regret), my clients' powers of attorney and commercial register extracts were requested in the afternoon. All of this just to prevent us from entering the holiday apartment we had booked (and paid for). Several offers of talks and peace were rejected. The owners were so caught up in their fantasy world that meaningful communication was not possible.Today I'm sitting on the costs of the whole process and I advise you:Find another holiday apartment!!!

Not recommended!!!I was traveling for work and booked 2 bedrooms for 2 people.What awaited me was a bad smell of perfume throughout the apartment and a huge amount of decorations. There was hardly any free space to put anything down. The accommodation is completely impractical. Even in the bathroom you have to put away the decorations before there is room for the wash bag. Here are a few more examples:There are towel racks in the bathroom just above knee height.I had to put my suitcase on the floor upstairs because there was no space. There wasn't even a table up there.The drawers in the kitchen are located under the wall cabinets. These are so high that I can't see into them. The cutlery is stored in tin pots on the wall. But these hang in such a way that the door of the wall cabinet only opens when you move the metal bowl away.I could name many more of these examples.The whole house is open inside and the rooms have no doors. Every sound, every word and every movement can be heard everywhere. Phone calls and conversations are very disruptive.The owners hide their desire to argue behind an overly friendly demeanor.It's a shame that zero stars isn't possible!

The alpaca hike was a great experience. Really super great! It's a really beautiful and well-kept farm and you can really tell that the animals are kept with a lot of love! Everyone puts their heart and soul into it and makes this day something very special.I can really recommend AlpacaView Lodge!

Place to be! A really wonderful place to come down and relax. Had a luxuriously furnished holiday home with a lovingly and very creatively designed courtyard that invited you to linger. Anyone who can get involved with the wonderful animals is in good hands with the warm Eschmann family. I will definitely come back!
