This hotel is really not recommended.We arrived with my friend and from the beginning the atmosphere was terrible,The reception is certainly not friendly or welcoming.We entered the room and it looks nothing like the website. It stinks of old people. The furniture is old, as someone wrote above, it really looks like a retirement home.We were afraid to sleep in that room, it was hard to fall asleep.THE ROOM WAS REALLY VERY DIRTY.I don't think anyone cleaned our room and if they did they didn't do their job.There was a lot of dust on the desk and next to the bed near both bedside tables, also hair from an animal (I think a dog) on the couch.Very unfortunate because my boyfriend is allergic so it was certainly not a good place to rest for him.We have been planning this weekend away for a long time, drove 2.5 hours there. We had booked 2 nights and we just left after 1 night, it was that bad.RECEIVED NO COMPENSATION, NO APOLOGIES, NOTHING.There were 2 tea bags, 2 small cups, we could barely drink tea. Really a shame.In the bathroom there was a used shower gel from the previous guest.The towels were not folded properly, the bathroom was very dirty.There were 2 very small bars of soap in the bathroom.No toothpaste, no normal shower gel, nothing at all.Not even enough towels for 2 nights and no toilet paper!Only thing that was okay was the breakfast, it was fresh and delicious, but again the staff was not friendly to us, we were looked at dirty by the staff for no reason, very unfriendly.We are really really disappointed and we will definitely never come back to this hotel!Next time we will first read the reviews and then we will book.

The four stars are apparently for the forest. Furthermore, faded glory and unsanitary. Bathroom was full of sewer flies. These are often caused by rot, bacteria and fungi in the drains and sewers. …

The Boshotel Vlodrop in Roermond is an idyllic retreat in the middle of the forest. Pure peace! The partially renovated and renovated areas give the hotel a charming mix of modernity and comfort. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent food and the excellent wine selection - both a real pleasure. However, the breakfast could be a little more varied in order to reach the high level of the evening meal. The surrounding area invites you to relax, with wellness and fitness facilities as well as ideal conditions for walking your dog and cycling. Dogs allowed in the hotel! A perfect place to unwind. We'd love to come back!

We have been coming to the Boshotel several times a year for 25 years, at least sometimes several times a year.Unfortunately, the last stay was somewhat disappointing.First of all, I think it is a great pity that no note is made that we have been coming to this hotel for so many years.When checking in they ask every time; is this your first time here....?!Things didn't go well at check-in anyway.We had booked a room on the edge of the forest.We were given the key to the room, but the room had not been cleaned yet. Housekeeping was no longer present so we were assigned another room. A room that had a view of the roof and smelled of smoke. We did not accept that room. The next room also had a view of the roof. Ultimately we got a room that was adequate.Other than that we had a great time. It is also a nice hotel with a nice swimming pool, spa and beauty center.

Visit: family with 2 children, August 2024. Stay: 1 night.Quiet, nice hotel in a beautiful location in the forest.Very friendly welcome, children received a small gift for the swimming pool.Beautiful, spacious room with balcony (no. 127) with spacious bathroom. Maintenance of the room could have been a little better.Fridge in the room, coffee and tea in the room, bathrobes/towels and slippers for the pool/sauna all included.Swimming pool is very nice. Also has saunas, a baby bath and a hot tub. The hotel also has a small indoor and outdoor playground.Restaurant:Breakfast was well prepared.Lunch and dinner menu somewhat limited.For example, there is no sandwich on the menu, and no lunch dishes for children. However, this was made especially for us, so excellent service in that respect too.In the morning we asked if it was possible to check out half an hour later, so that the children could swim for a while. This was possible, and without additional payment.Good service!Unfortunately, we were not told that group lessons are given in the swimming pool between certain times in the morning, so the children were still unable to swim.After the group lesson was over, they were able to swim for another fifteen minutes and that was disappointing.That's actually the only point of criticism.Furthermore, we had a wonderful stay.

A quiet and very peaceful facility, ideal for cyclists or people avoiding the hustle and bustle. During our stay, we checked out the restaurant and we couldn't fault it. The facility is adapted to conduct training - well-prepared rooms. In such places, even company meetings are not difficult.
