Five stars...? The plots themselves are really beautiful. Plumbing is also fine. On the homepage, however, the location and possibilities of Lake Kronenburg are advertised. Unfortunately, none of this is possible because the lake has been closed for about three years and the water level is kept at winter level!!! In addition, these leisure activities are more than a kilometer away from the campsite! If you continue searching and researching on the HP, you will find a reference to this...What you don't get any information about is the fact that the bistro on the square, which is also advertised, is closed! And anyone who relies on the WiFi is left out...it's basically non-existent...But the real kicker is.........tätärätätääää......€39.50 per day for a motorhome with two people! For what? For almost nothing...!!!The lady at the departure didn't care at all about our advice. That rounded it all off for us...

Friendly welcome (despite our late arrival). Very pleasant. We stayed in an Eifelhütte. Wonderful beds, no further inventory (except an outdoor seating area), but we certainly did not expect that for a 'hiker's hut'.There could have only been a slightly darker curtain 🙃🌞. But in general: absolutely fine!

Initial situation: We were at the campsite for four nights (Friday to Tuesday) with our three-year-old son (bus with roof tent and awning). The arrival was warm and we were also allowed to order rolls for the next day late (well priced and delicious). We were also kind enough to provide an adapter for our power cable for a deposit 😊 (but a flat rate of €5 per night is quite a deal). When we arrived, the sanitary facilities were in a clean condition, this was no longer the case on Saturday or Sunday at the latest (here you are almost no longer surprised about the hygiene of those around you) and the cleaning only took place again on Monday afternoon. What was annoying was that there was no toilet paper in any toilet from Sunday afternoon to Monday morning. There is a separate sink, toilet and shower for children (the shower is in the women's sanitary area, so you have to do without Dad's helping hands. However, you can probably book a family bathroom for a medium surcharge). The children's playground is getting a bit old and individual equipment is probably being replaced every now and then. The quite a few dog feces that were scattered all over the playground were annoying. What absolutely didn't work for us was that the barrier was closed between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., as well as 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., due to the midday and night rest periods, i.e. no chance of leaving the area with the vehicle or possibly closing it again late in the evening drive on. We have never experienced this at any other campsite! It's in the pitch plan, but we didn't receive it either by email or as a printout (perhaps as a constructive criticism here: feel free to attach the pitch plan to the booking email, for better transparency, or maybe even delete the closing time completely).Pros: nice, quiet location, friendly staff, size of spaceCons: Barrier closing time, dog poop playground, the advertised kiosk was practically non-existent (only ice cream, a few drinks and lollipops - someone who relies on the advertised "basic supplies" will have problems.

As a cyclist with a small tent, I had to pay an incredible 23.50. That's about double what I paid in the last few days. Usury!!! And no WiFi whatsoever. The tent meadow is nice, the shower is clean. The snack bar was closed.

Were the only two on the pitch other than regulars. There is a very steep hill to get in and out, the bistro is only open Friday and Saturday. The kiosk is not a kiosk, but a reception that is mostly only staffed from 9-11

We were in a holiday home. Very well maintained and new. The houses are outstanding in terms of comfort. Friendly welcome at reception. Gladly again.
