Haus Wiesengrund

We spent 3 days on the farm and were generally in a positive mood. The children were able to go directly from the house onto the playground, which has a complete view from the house. The house itself was well equipped and the bathroom was new.However, we thought that in addition to the games, life and work on the farm would also be shown and that the children could help out - unfortunately that was not the case. There was only daily feeding of the animals in the evening.We also found it a shame that most of the play equipment was broken and rusty and the yard seemed a bit careless. Nevertheless, the children had a lot of fun and we had 3 great days together.

Great owners, super friendly, great farm, family friendly. During the daily feeding, we talk passionately about the animals and their husbandry and explain everything to the little ones (3-5) in an understanding manner.Toys for children are spread all over the yard and are available for free use, just great. This is also how the children come together; the bouncy castle in one of the buildings has to be mentioned as a special highlight.The accommodation (house/apartment) was on the same level as we know from various parks (Center or Roompot Park). Everything was perfectly fine, of course you could renovate after each guest (irony)... We had nothing to complain about, it was clean!We will have fond memories of the farm and can fully recommend it. Great experience, keep it up and see you soon!

I was on the farm with my grandchildren for a week.The boys were thrilled with the bouncy castle in the morning and evening, the hay slide, the style of play (slide, sandpit, roller slide vehicles, trampoline, water ride) where there was an endless amount to discoverThe time until 6 p.m. wasn't long... because the animals were fed promptly at 6 p.m. With the breakfast egg in hand, the day could come to a happy end.Our small apartment was clean and functional.The playground in Gerolstein is worth a trip.The small indoor playground cafe in Gerolstein was also a success and saved us from a rainy day.We weren't so lucky with the weather...The plan is to have a grandchild/grandmother/week in Haus Wiesengrund next summer.

We spent a lovely 5 days here. The children had fun every day on the trampoline, swings, roller track and also the play barn. Here and there an egg was found because the chickens were allowed to run around freely.The children always looked forward to feeding the animals in the evening with farmer Christian (very nice and hard-working). At the end, each child was allowed to take a freshly laid egg in the chicken coop for breakfast. We also turned hay every now and then during the day or fed the sheep, ponies and calves with hay, which was very relaxing.Luckily, 9 baby piglets were born the day before we arrived. Very sweet.We were also able to book pony riding.Our apartment (No. 17) had a wonderful view of the sheep and pony enclosure with the wider landscape beyond. It was clean, well-kept and comfortable.We were also able to do laundry upon request.It was our first farm holiday and we were very satisfied.

Chilling in peace with nice people in the summer. Not a party location. But a children's paradise to relax. There are no dime diggers and no vending machines here. Just a small farm with several small houses for guests to self-cater. As a family of 5 with kids between 7 and 10 plus a dog, we were well looked after here. Arrive, “release” the children, relax and unwind.

A very nice farm with lots of great play opportunities. We would love to come back.

It started with the contact. It took forever until we received an answer to an email. It was also very difficult to reach anyone by phone.Unfortunately, the expectations and promises of the website were not kept either.There is no longer a covered wagon ride, and all other activities are from External and are no longer offered.There was no information on site about activities or other points of interest/sights.Everything here was laid out years ago and has not been maintained and left to its own devices since then. Cleanliness is also not the top priority here.An electric fence right next to the swimming pond, with no warnings, as well as a free-roaming aggressive rooster that attacks small children are not immediately inviting.Now something positive, the rooms are well equipped and even have a dishwasher, washing up liquid and soap in the toilet (which I'm not used to in many other holiday apartments).It's nice that there is animal feeding for the little ones. However, you don't remember it, so if you don't keep an eye on the clock, you'll miss it.The nice thing is that you can let the children run around on the playground if it weren't for the rooster.A refrigerator with drinks is also available to guests for a fee.Because a family party had just rented a room, there was something going on and full here.All in all, we had 5 lovely days.But whether we will come again is questionable.I think there are nicer farms that are run with more love.

So I was there with my children and grandchildren, everything was great, clean, very nice, everything was there that you could want, whether it was a playground for the children or for adults, it was beautiful, I can only recommend it and the family from Haus Wiesengrund are there day and night Everyone just says great
