We have stayed there for twice already. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The sweet cat, the vintage styled rooms and the outdoor kitchen with the pizza oven are just perfect. The indoor and outdoor facilities are also fun for both adults and kids. This is definitely our favorite place to stay, and we will surely back every once in a while.

What a wonderful experience we had at Lodge 1854! The surroundings were really beautiful and the welcome was so warm. It was very nice that we were allowed to participate in making pizza from the pizza oven. As a couple we really enjoyed our holiday there. The kitchen was ideal and we could even swim and kayak. We also received nice tips for places to visit. It was a very successful holiday, we will definitely come back!

Lodge 1854 is an absolutely amazing place! With the option of cycling and canoeing, there is always something fun to do. It is the perfect destination for adventurous types who love nature. I would definitely recommend it! 🌳🚴♀️🛶

Absolute booking recommendation, the landlady is very warm and accommodating. The accommodation is lovingly furnished and the kitchen has everything you need. The garden extends almost to the Kyll River and invites you to linger, have a morning coffee and an evening get-together around the fire basket. The lush herb bed is available to guests. There are also blankets for warmth, a large trampoline and a pool in the garden... in short, a place to dream and relax.

A top hostess, a unique location perfect for a family or couple, friends facility offers everything to enjoy a nice holiday or weekend away. In the garden there is a swimming pool, trampoline, badminton hammocks, pizza oven, outdoor kitchen, etc., they have a nice reading corner, games, pool table. you will not be bored, ideal for relaxing, also nice for those who want to be more active, beautiful walks or bike rides are nearby, you can also canoe ... I can really recommend this, we had a great holiday and we were 110 percent welcome and feels at home...

Mega beautiful and idyllic accommodation! The house is super stylish and furnished with attention to detail. Everything has really been thought of! The huge garden is also a dream! An outdoor cooking area, a fire goblet and hammocks - this is a really great place to spend your time and unwind! The surrounding area also has a lot to offer: hiking, canoeing or a bike ride.I can really recommend the lodge and will definitely come back :)!

A super nice accommodation with a very friendly hostess. The rooms have been designed with a lot of love and you feel comfortable right from the start. You can use the huge garden. At Lodge 1854 you can also play table tennis and badminton for free and rent bicycles and canoes. A very nice place to vacation in the Eifel!

Welcoming reception and a great place. Large garden with many facilities, in the middle of the volcanic Eiffel from where you can easily make trips to cities and other sights. Ideal place for hiking trails.Possibility of covered storage for bicycles or motorcycles. Definitely worth repeating!

Great place in cute village. Very hospitable reception. Beautifully renovated old building with modern kitchen, shower and everything else you could want. Located pretty much on the Kylltal cycle route and the garden borders the river.
