Nice restaurant.We had coffee and a piece of apple pie there.The cake was delicious and the coffee was fine.We were there at the end of October 24 and the service had the fireplace well under control/very warm.Since we were traveling by bike, we couldn't stay that long.Would love to go there again.

The property by the lake is simply unique. You can look under ancient apple trees at the picturesque Schlabornsee. If you're lucky, sea eagles or ospreys are flying by.

I rarely give bad reviews, but I have to give feedback here, even if I'm sorry about the service. We were passing through and spontaneously wanted to have something for lunch. Positive things first: Service is very friendly and quick. Food and drinks came very quickly. The location is brilliant, even if unfortunately nothing is done with the potential. Guest room is carelessly furnished. The tiled stove was on, but the temperatures in the dining room felt like 30 degrees. Buildings, toilets and outdoor areas urgently need renovation, but that's completely understandable -> This of course requires financial resources that could be generated with good food. I have never eaten such bad game goulash. Inedible and definitely not prepared by a trained chef. Maybe it was a short-term replacement for the actual chef, as the reviews of the dishes were otherwise good. I have no idea, but that was nothing. Chewy and gristly, not a homemade or poorly made sauce. If that's standard, I think it would be a terrible shame for what is theoretically a great restaurant in terms of the location and what you could do with it.

We only stopped in to eat. Cozy welcome, nice menu. Ate delicious roast game, beef goulash, potato dumplings and red cabbage. Tasted very tasty. Then warm apple strudel with vanilla sauce.

Great location. We only had dinner here and didn't stay overnight. The service is very friendly. The food is homemade. Not a huge card, but top quality. Very happy again.

The fried potatoes were in the pan for a while, the schnitzel was very tasty and the mushroom cream sauce reminded me a lot of my childhood.😃

We were looking for a starting point for a few days of vacation in the area around Rheinsberg and chose this country inn.The friendly and very accommodating service, for which special requests were no problem, appealed to us. You can tell that the family cares about their guests, which is also reflected in little things like providing small tools for repairing bicycles.Our room was clean and well-kept, equipped with TV/Wi-Fi and a large terrace. A large parking lot behind the house, which leads into a meadow to the lake with a jetty, completes the picture.The selection on the menu is okay and “extras” can also be ordered. The sumptuous breakfast lets you start the day in a good mood...We would like to thank you for your friendly welcome and would certainly take advantage of your hospitality if you did so again.I can highly recommend the Zechlinerhütte as a starting point for bike tours in the area.
