Very nice holiday village in the Bavarian Forest. I can't say anything about the condition of the apartments except for ours. It's really nicely decorated and everything is there. We have a large balcony and everything is furnished to a high standard. The individual apartments are privately owned and are partly managed and rented out by the local administration and partly through booking portals. That's why you won't find all apartments at all booking locations. It's better to go to the village's homepage to find out which floor plan and amenities you like. Price/performance is top. There is also a small indoor swimming pool in the house with an adjacent sauna area with 2 saunas and a steam bath. There is a huge lawn outside.Any time!Update:The summer vacation in the Schwarzholz holiday village 2024 is booked! We are already looking forward to another great vacation,

In many areas it does not deliver what is promised on the homepage. Reception is rarely open, staff very indifferent. There is no petting zoo (just a few goats in a closed enclosure)/playroom in the basement, dark, without furnishings (apart from a ball pit)/adventure playground is probably not part of the holiday village/use of the small, which is beautiful in itself. Swimming pool is very adventurous, as changing rooms, showers, corridors are mostly pitch black (lighting via motion detectors is mostly out), both hair dryers are defective/indoor sauna is closed - because it is defective, wellness area - none. Massages could not be booked through reception. WiFi almost never connects. Bread service only on working days.

|We carefully examined the room again and are generally horrified, we pay a lot of money, there is no Internet, there are no normal conditions! we are shocked! Arrived on Saturday, the master comes on Monday! …

We are spending a week here as a family of four.We live in a simple two-room apartment with a sofa bed and separate bedroom, which is sufficient for us as we like to be active and outside. We have a balcony with a great view. The apartment is a bit old fashioned, but okay. The holiday village is beautifully located, the panorama is beautiful. There are goats and rabbits, two trampolines, a lounge corner and loungers on the lawn. The reception offers books, information material and the staff are really helpful and friendly. We were able to move into our apartment very punctually on the day of arrival. There is also a playground that is beautifully laid out, but is more suitable for children aged 3 and over. There is also a small swimming pool and sauna and steam bath. Everything here is modern and clean, the indoor swimming pool is well-tempered and sufficient. There is also a children's playroom that can be used for short periods with children up to 7 years old.Unfortunately, the advertised childcare was a bit disappointing for us, as there were no clear instructions and orientation for the children, which led to uncertainty for our son and he then dropped out. The care team needs to improve something. We also have a parking space in the underground car park, which is really great. You can forget about WiFi here 😅 but in the best case scenario you hardly need it. Conclusion: there are one or two little things that should be improved, but we are very satisfied and are already planning to come back and make the 800km journey again.

So there are a lot of positive things as well as a few negative things. But first the positive things: we had a 5 star apartment with 2 bedrooms. The apartment is very modern but cozy and has two terraces. …

The holiday complex is nice and well maintained. Everything is very clean. The holiday apartments are of a simple standard, but lovingly furnished and decorated. The pool is nice and warm and sufficiently sized. Unfortunately, the playroom was closed due to renovations when we visited. The food in the associated restaurant was also very tasty. However, I recommend getting a larger apartment. Our apartment was designed for 4 people, but I wonder where 4 adults could have slept. However, it was doable with small children. We will definitely come back.
