This hotel was perfect. Price is good and hotel is clean. There is a swimming pool and sauna(without clothes I didnt like it). Location is very close to city center. Autopark is expensive but at least there is an autopark(9€). There is no kettle in room and its made me sad a little bit but bathroom was very clean and there is bathtub. I recommend this hotel.

Wifi only worked partly. Too small parking-lot. Elevator broken. Sauna says "18+" but there are kids from 3-15 staring at naked adults and shouting around. They allow pets so there are pets hairs and huge dogs around even in the evening at the bar.They claim they have the best price on the website but it is cheaper to go with booking.com or expedia.

We were at this hotel for a business conference including overnight stays. The meeting room was well equipped and the service was very good.The rooms were clean, there was nothing to complain about.The nice bartender in the evening deserves special mention. Even though he had already had a long day at work, he was super friendly and responded to all requests well into the night.

The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from the city center. The staff is friendly and you can park right in front of the hotel for €9 per night. Unfortunately, the rooms do not look anything like the photos. The rooms are old and careless. The bathroom has absolutely no feel-good atmosphere. There were two unfinished rolls of toilet paper in the room. The bathtub had a small gap where it wasn't tiled and there was carpet underneath. How it will mold at some point is questionable. The breakfast was delicious. Overall we wouldn't come back or we would have to book a better room.We paid €106 for the double room through Booking, perhaps you couldn't expect anything better for that price.Monschau is still worth a trip.

Great hotelHowever, the room has several defects.Lamp broken (loose plug was still in socket)Bath is missing a button.Plastering also needs urgent attention.But the location is already beautiful.But the service is excellent.And the breakfast was just amazing!!A little bit of everything.And for latte macchiato decafe we only had to ask.

The price was cheap and the good service and the pool got a lot out of it, but overall it wasn't that great.Cleanliness was not convincing - even after requesting the room to be cleaned further, it wasn't much better (for example, the bedside table was completely dusty. The rooms are very large, but also very carelessly furnished. There was no central ceiling light, just decentralized lamps distributed throughout the room - it's nice when you're sitting on the sofa at home in the evening, but I would also like the option of not having to pack my suitcase in the semi-darkness.The bed was uncomfortable (well, it's a matter of taste) and it made noises with every movement. In addition, the rooms are extremely noisy. Sleep was therefore a struggle.In addition, everything is a bit old and looks rancid. The elevator is also extremely slow.The service was friendly and attentive.The hotel is located outside the old town. This can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. However, it goes a little downhill towards the old town and then uphill on the way back.

I would prefer to give 0 stars.It was the worst restaurant food I have ever eaten. And that's called a menu! For 39,-: €. Soup from a soup cannon, like in a snack bar... Salads from a glass... Burnt croquettes for the main course and dessert: Kaiserschmarren from a warming container as self-service.For breakfast there were baked rolls. Scrambled eggs were not available on two days because they were expecting delivery first. I really wonder what you're thinking when breakfast is so recommended... but not even a croissant or scrambled eggs with bacon is offered.Room facilities are very poor.We even had to ask for hygiene items: e.g. toilet paper!Good location, but that's nothing special.

All in all we were very happy with our stay.The entire staff, whether in the bar, at reception, in the restaurant, or the cleaning staff, were more than friendly and very accommodating.Since we had only booked the "standard double room" as a single room, we were also satisfied with the somewhat simpler furnishings.The breakfast was plentiful and good, but tastes vary. Although we didn't book half board, we still ate at the hotel in the evening and there was nothing to complain about either.It's just a 5 - 10 minute walk to the city center.We would like to thank you again for the very nice hospitality and will definitely be guests in your hotel again.
