Super friendly and polite owners. Hearty, spicy, mostly Hungarian food and moderate prices. Here you want to treat yourself to a visit to a restaurant several times a month.

I stopped in today after the cold market. The Szeged goulash with sauerkraut and the Russ was very tasty. Above all, the price is totally right.The location between the train station and the city center with parking directly at the house or Sebastiansgraben is also great.

Went for dinner with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised! I had Hungarian braised beef and my friend had a Viennese style schnitzel. We were both very satisfied! The pot roast was something different but delicious! The schnitzel fried in the pan was also plentiful and delicious! For dessert there were pancakes with quark filling, which were also very tasty! The staff very friendly and accommodating!

A cozy inn from which you can quickly get anywhere on foot, as the Kronprinzen is quite centrally located. The service was very friendly and just great. Freshly made eggs every morning (depending on how you wanted them) and in the evenings, if you wanted, a delicious warm supper. If you look along the street, you have a great view of the Ellwangen Castle.

Dirty tablecloths from the start, better the bare table. More attention to service. Average food. I'm sorry but it's gotten worse than it was a couple of years ago.

Since we only went to eat, I can't rate the rooms. We had various Hungarian dishes. It was very good and apart from the soup a nice portion. The soup in the little cup, well. Highly recommended for Germans who like Hungarian food. Hungary will be missing something. We'd love to come back.

We just had dinner there and I can absolutely recommend it, the food is very, very good and brings back memories of Hungary. Rarely have I seen such a nice host who really takes time for his customers and is clearly up for a good time. Gladly again and again

We ate at the Kronprinzen again today, it was very tasty, I can only recommend it. If someone gives 1 star because there are no onions in the sausage salad, I really can't understand it. I don't like onions and garlic. I said that before ordering and that's what I got. Hungarian cuisine is different from Swabian cuisine, but there is nothing that isn't available and if you want something with additional spices or something else, the landlord will try very hard to make it happen. The staff is great, the food is great and waiting times are completely ok. Always my pleasure.

After the change of ownership it was a complete disaster, no longer recommended.The food tastes bland and like yesterday. Everything was dead cooked and dry.We enjoyed staying here for yearseat and totally satisfied, we totally mourn the old owners...We're not coming anymore :-(

Today we had dinner in this restaurant. There is Hungarian cuisine, which tastes very good. The owner took a lot of time and kept asking if we needed anything. Very attentive. I wish the new tenants much success and all the best for the future

New operators. Now it's Hungarian and German cuisine. Very friendly staff. Very accommodating and delicious food. Mood is good, everything is great, I'll be back and can only recommend it.Fortunately, the old operator who was constantly shouting no longer exists

The food is really sensationally good, you'll be looking for something like that in Ellwangen for a long time!! Very nice host, the price-performance ratio is really exceptionally good. You can recommend this inn without reservations!! The Hungarian dishes in particular are extremely tasty and are very rare here in the Ostalbkreis, and the portions are great. We will definitely be regulars. KEEP IT UP!!!
