We spent a long weekend here. The hotel is a bit old, but it has a special charm. The rooms are comfortably furnished and everything is very clean. What should be highlighted is the really good and attentive service.We had a room on the second floor. Since my husband is disabled and had trouble climbing the stairs, the management offered us a room on the first floor without being asked. We thought that was really nice and were happy to accept it. Once again, we would like to thank you very much for thisThe breakfast was also recommended, everything you could imagine was there and if something was out, it would be filled up immediately.We were really very satisfied and would love to come back!

Mini mini room. The bathroom is the size of a guest toilet. Only some with renovated bathrooms. But clean and cheap. Breakfast is good. Otherwise no service.

Very nice hotel and takes you back to memories. Very friendly staff. Even if you are not a hotel guest you are welcome here. Delicious breakfast buffet for everyone. Gladly again.

To begin with: The staff consisting of two people is very friendly. Our room number 6 was okay. The carpeting should be replaced. The breakfast was good, but we asked you to clear the table yourself. The restaurant is closed due to a lack of staff. You can only pay the bill in cash. All in all, the price-performance ratio is not right. Too bad.

We were only there to eat, but we were rarely served such poor quality food. The service didn't understand German. The unobstructed view of the Rhine only compensated to a limited extent. Generally not recommended.

Since the restaurant was temporarily closed, we were able to use the terrace to ourselves. The view was great right on the water. Our e-bikes were well looked after. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The room didn't smell musty either. We would stop here again and again.

We didn't stay there so I can only rate the restaurant.From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the Rhine and the great landscape. Even though it wasn't open yet, we didn't know beforehand, we were allowed to stay and take a seat. We were then served very friendly and courteously. Top!

We were a group of cyclists on a round trip. I found the service/hospitality to be very, very good and attentive, which in my opinion is very rare today! The room and bathroom are quaint and the bed is good. The breakfast was great and you start the day rested and strengthened - thank you.

Very pleasant location. At first I was worried that it might be a bit too loud towards the street - but I still slept wonderfully. The old building is definitely the most exciting of the hotels - and in my opinion also the most beautiful, but that's a matter of taste. The staff was nice despite stressful times.

The stay at the Hotel zum Goldenen Löwen was very nice! We were warmly welcomed and pointed out the excursion destinations in and around Sankt Goar. The rooms were clean and we had a restful night in comfortable beds. The morning view of Katz Castle from our room made us want to explore the beautiful region. After a lovingly prepared breakfast, we started our day. We can highly recommend the hotel.

I stayed at the Hotel zum Goldenen Löwen for two nights and had a great time. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was very nice and the breakfast with the beautiful view of the Rhine was definitely a highlight. The hotel is beautifully located right on the river with a great outdoor terrace. At the reception you could also find out about excursions and hikes and book a packed lunch for the next day.I can highly recommend the tarte flambée and the in-house schnapps “Löwenherz”.I'd love to come back ☀️
