Ferienhof am Hennesee

I have enjoyed going to the Wullenweber family for many years, since day one we were treated like part of the farm and were allowed to take part in all the activities.Whether it's helping with milking, feeding calves, riding horses or getting your own eggs from the chicken coop.All around a great experience.

We stayed at the great holiday farm at Hennesee with the whole family! The children had a lot of fun with the motor pool, the straw trampoline, riding and with the animals in general. The surrounding area invites you to take long walks and we didn't miss out on a swim in the lake. In the evening we were able to grill without any problems and quickly came into contact with other guests, but of course you could also retreat. The family atmosphere on the farm, characterized by three generations, is particularly great and we all immediately felt in good hands and comfortable. We especially recommend it to families with a clear conscience, but everyone actually gets their money's worth if they have fun on a farm holiday.

We were at this farm with three adults and three children in the week before Easter. My daughters and grandchildren were welcomed by a nice older lady, who later turned out to be the landlady's mother-in-law. She showed the apartment and wished you a nice stay. I came a day later and there was no one from the landlord family to be seen. A lady (one of the regular guests) then explained to my daughters that you can watch milking, feeding, etc. in the cowshed at any time, that you can ride the ponies if you can do it yourself, that you can get eggs from the chicken coop, that you can see the sheep, Goats and rabbits can be fed.It took us three days until we realized who the owner/landlady actually was.There were a lot of regulars there who knew their stuff.There were no rules, lists or anything like that when it came to riding, which made it difficult to set fixed riding times, so the children almost had a race to see who could ride when. All without any supervision or control. No problem for regular guests and people with riding experience, but difficult for everyone else.There were lots of Kettcars, vehicles and play options.At the waffle dinner, which was organized by the landlady in the middle of the week, it was again very difficult to get into conversation with her; she talked to her regular guests. We would have liked to have been more involved there too.We were able to watch two calves being born, which was a great experience for the kids. However, when we explained to our children that the calves are separated from the mother cow quite quickly and why, we made ourselves very unpopular.We tried to talk to the landlady and praised a lot of what was good, but also said what could perhaps be changed or improved. We would have liked someone to take us a little more with them, maybe greet new guests, maybe ask them when they walk across the yard whether everything is okay, whether they feel comfortable, etc.We have been holidaying on the farm for many years and don't need any entertainment, but there is a lot of space between hospitality and entertainment.We therefore cannot recommend this farm

We were there during the week and another family. We arrived and first met the wonderful and friendly older lady of the farm (Mrs. Wullenweber's mother-in-law). She didn't know anything about our arrival, but no other contact person was available and she showed us the apartment and explained how we could get milk and eggs and what the farm rules were. We would also get to know the mediator. Well, we intercepted this on the second day to at least pay our rent. We only saw them scurry past us from a distance, as did others on the farm. (By the way, we were on the farm in the morning, at lunchtime and late in the afternoon and into the evening) How are you supposed to talk to someone about riding the ponies, watching the cows being milked or something else. Only the older lady came to us for an exchange of words and some information. Apparently the landlady only cared about the other guests, because these children were allowed to ride the ponies and the like. On the day before our departure, the new guests were happily welcomed and introduced by the landlady. We were very disappointed with this kind of hospitality and, based on the reviews, we would have imagined our time at the holiday farm to be a little different (lack of hospitality and no promotions for us). The farm itself is great for children and there is a lot to discover. However, you shouldn't expect "quality" here, as everything from the play equipment (especially the vehicle fleet needs an air pump) to the furnishings and kitchen utensils are extremely worn or treated carelessly. (Child seat cushion is stained, toaster, coffee machine and kettle would need a complete basic cleaning, pan is scratched, plates with broken edges, cracked cups, flat and stained seat cushions). The bathroom is renovated, although the blinds have mold stains from top to bottom. P.s Don't let your small children eat anything outside in front of the dog, because he steals everything right out of their hands and is not exactly timid (according to the regulations, the dog is otherwise allowed to be fed leftover food, hence probably this behavior) otherwise she is really sweet and loving to be petted. (2 stars for the farm and 1 for the good soul of the farm)

As soon as we got out we were greeted and felt welcome. Two families with a total of five children. We had a wonderful week at the holiday farm and highly recommend it. What's particularly great is that the children are kept busy even when the weather is bad. Great play barn

Depart and arrive. As always, no problem. We appreciate the peace, forest, pure nature. We have been coming here for 14 years. Our children are always there, even now.Many thanks to our hosts, the entire Wullenweber family.Definitely worth a visit, all year round.

It is warm, clean and pleasant

We spent a great holiday week here as a family. Went for a walk with the alpacas, witnessed the birth of a calf, stroked the rabbits and raced in various vehicles (bobby cars, cat cars...). There was fresh milk and eggs every day.The Wullenweavers are very friendly and you can talk to them at any time and find out a lot about the animals. We found everything we needed in the spacious accommodation.There is a lot to discover in the region and you immediately slow down. The people here are very friendly and relaxed.It was a very successful vacation.

Relaxation made easy!!!We had 4 wonderful days at Ferienhof Wullenweber and felt very comfortable right from the start. The nice welcome was followed by the positive surprise about the spacious apartment.The best thing was that our children were in feel-good mode from minute one and had a lot of fun exploring the yard. You can look at everything in peace, there is fresh milk, with a bit of luck fresh eggs and the bread roll service is not a given either. Horse riding was also possible, overall a very pleasant atmosphere, which is underlined by the many regular guests.When we go home tomorrow, there will certainly be something to talk about for a long time. Our first farm holiday will be fondly remembered.If we're allowed, we'll definitely stop by again. Many thanks to the Wullenweber family for the great days!

A nice, sunny weekend with a beautiful view and lots of animals in a very large holiday apartment, plenty of space for children to run around and play. The bread roll service and the fresh eggs were great.We were missing the 5th star:- more hospitality and perhaps a short tour of the farm with the opportunity to ask questions - the "briefing" only lasted 2 minutes - after that no one was visible or approachable until we left - we didn't want to ring the bellIt would be nice and helpful to ask guests every now and then whether everything is OK- The vehicle fleet for the children needed to be serviced, almost all of the Kettcars had no air on their tires- enough toilet paper- a kitchen towel in the laundry package- a freshly washed sofa blanket without any stains from the previous oneOtherwise everything was nice and relaxing.
