Just came back from a wonderful week at Daumahof. Family of 5.We stayed at the Ferienhaus round the corner which was large, clean and had everything a family would need.The host family and all the workers on the farm were super friendly and let the kids help out with daily work.There are cows, chickens, geese, sheep and horses all of which you can feed, pet and ride the horses.The village is very relaxing and quiet with also a brand new large playground for the kids.All round a really great holiday but why only 4 stars instead of 5? Two reasons, one big and one small.Start with the small, to use the washing machine/drier we had to pay €10, this is way too much and unnecessary especially as we needed it due to being on a farm.The big reason, I had to pay for everything in cash, I wasnt even allowed to send money by bank transfer. This is the first time in my life I have experienced this. This is unacceptable in 2024, I have no interest in carrying around so much cash, I can understand if you dont want to pay fees etc but a bank transfer costs nothing...this is strange and old fashioned.

It was just beautiful. Our kids had so much fun. Driving a tractor, feeding calves, taking animals to pasture, campfire... and much more.There was even a LIVE calf Gerburt there. Great playgrounds.....We can only recommend it.

Beautiful apartment with all the trimmings and a nice view of the farm.Nice owners and fellow villagers who are happy to have a chat with you.

We have a wonderful time on the farm. From feeding cows, ponies, pigs and rabbits to jumping around in the straw and driving around in the tractor... Everything you would expect from a successful holiday on the farm is there. Many thanks to the entire Förtsch family, we felt comfortable from the first second.

The Daumahof is a paradise for young and old.You can experience everything up close:Cows muck, feed, milk.Take a ride on the tractor, feed the chickens and look for the eggs. There are rabbits, a dog, several playgrounds, a hay barn, a barbecue area and even a forest area on the farm with a lake/raft and a forest cable car.The farm and the rooms are very well maintained, the Förtsch family is very nice and helpful and the surrounding area also offers a lot of great excursion options.All around a wonderful holiday 🥰!Thanks for the great time!

The Dauma Hof is a great adventure farm.We had a lovely holiday here.You can work a lot.Feed cows, collect eggs, feed chickens, ducks and geese and catch them in the evening.We were also able to witness the birth of a calf.The Reichenbach holiday home is modernly furnished, but does not lose the charm of a farm.All ages have been considered. Child safety locks, children's crockery, baby bed, even a toilet attachment for children.The Förtsch family is a very nice family. We were warmly welcomed into the Dauma Hof family.We'd love to come back.
