We, my wife and I were here.We were hoping to have a nice few days. It almost worked too.Unfortunately, the weather spoiled the hiking enthusiasts for days with heavy rain, wind and fog.The house, the rooms and the cleanliness is optimal.!!The boss, we have to say, could be a little friendlier.Nevertheless, you can feel comfortable here. !!

We stayed here for one night. Totally unfriendly hostess. The breakfast was rather mediocre. The rooms are totally old fashioned. For the dog 15 €... an outrage... the price/performance ratio doesn't fit at all. 125€ for one night in the guesthouse... definitely not again!!!

Friendly hosts who cook for their guests in the evenings in the dining room. Our room consisted of a separate living room and bedroom as well as a large bathroom. The decor was very classic. But very lovingly prepared.

The garden is beautifully designed and invites you to take a break. Everything is beautifully renovated and clean. The room was large and very nice. Food great. Overall, the town of Friedrichshöhe is in a very idyllic location.

As a hiker (with a dog), I arrived quite late in the evening and the dinner I wanted was already on the table. Thank you very much again for that.“The room” actually consisted of two rooms (living room, bedroom) and a large bathroom. Everything was very clean and well maintained.For breakfast there was homemade jam, sausage from the butcher and a lot more - delicious and unfortunately quite rare these days.The town of Friedrichshöhe would be a little highlight on the Rennsteig for me: small and rustic, in the middle of the forest, plenty of hiking opportunities and in autumn, with a bit of luck, you can hear the deer roaring.All in all a great value for money.

Great, very quiet guesthouse in a very nice location. Everything sparkling clean! The welcome and hospitality were excellent. Excellent, typically regional cuisine. Guesthouse and restaurant are definitely recommended.
