It was a unique experience to be here. A wonderful host, absolutely inspiring and motivating. A dream. The accommodation itself is extremely comfortable. Totally feel good.

Very friendly reception. You immediately feel at home. I was served a very tasty meal with fresh salad from our own garden. The next day, despite the stress, the landlady drove me to the nearest train station in Neuhaus. Thank you very much and all the best and love

I have stayed in many accommodations on my hikes and have rarely been welcomed so warmly! Thanks to both of you.As a welcome, there was a delicious tea on the terrace and then Elisabeth immediately offered to cook dinner for me, as nothing was open in town. Delicious! After a delicious breakfast, I continued hiking in a good moodRating: Highly recommended :-)

You simply have to experience the flair of this house and the hospitality of Elisabeth and Rolf! From the first to the last second it was really a very pleasant stay. The highlight was of course the variety of homemade jams for breakfast. And I'm still wondering why Elisabeth isn't selling her legendary "headache jam" on the internet yet 😀 maybe when she retires soon and sells the house. (Although, does it even belong to her? Who knows 😁) The successor has a very big gap to fill. Thank God that, quite by chance, we were able to be guests here again!

The madness. Hospitality is very important here. The muddy clothes were washed immediately without us asking, a fantastic dinner was served in the evening and we are already looking forward to the breakfast rolls 👌

Highly recommended!Super hospitable welcome, uncomplicated arrangements over the phone and the hiking room was well equipped, I didn't miss anything.Good overnight accommodation for Rennsteig hikers and there is a delicious breakfast included.Thank you for the great stay.

Absolutely excellent! We felt very comfortable and our dog was also a welcome guest. The hosts are super nice and warm! On the evening of our arrival we even had a delicious dinner because there was nothing left in town at that time. The breakfast was also excellent!Thanks for the great time! We'll definitely be back!

Great apartment with very nice landlords. Very nicely furnished with great attention to detail. The surroundings also leave nothing to be desired. Whether hiking, castle tours, city tours or caves, everyone will find something here. Highly recommended, we have been here many times and always discover something new.

A very warmly run guesthouse! The rooms are perfectly adequate for hikers and the breakfast is fabulous. If you're lucky, there's even homemade jam for the journey :).Full recommendation at fair prices and the first port of call in Limbach on the Rennsteig hike! All the best to you.P.S.: Just ask politely at dinner, as the local restaurant is only open on weekends.

We stayed with the Pauli family for one night on our Rennsteig hike at Haus Rennsteigrose. We were warmly welcomed and welcomed, the hiking room was super nice and the whole house was lovingly furnished. We were looked after with heart and a lot of love. A home-cooked dinner and a mega breakfast convince us of the host Pauli's positive attitude to life. We can recommend you 100%. Thank you very much for the great hours in your home.

We stayed with the Pauli family in the Rennsteigrose for one night on our Rennsteig hike. Great room, super friendly welcome and great home-cooked food - all with fresh ingredients. The breakfast was really awesome. We have never had so many different homemade jams/spreads. We didn't know that you can also make jam with spruce needles. The accommodation is highly recommended.

While looking for a cozy place to stay over New Year's Eve, we accidentally came across the Rennsteigrose online. Super friendly and helpful hosts, well-kept accommodation, fully furnished. And in 2 minutes on Rennsteigweg. We'll be back, it was wonderful.

The Pauli family was very warm and welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable. The house is steeped in history and lovingly decorated with details that come from the area. The house is full of warmth. Our holiday apartment was surprisingly comfortably furnished. Cute and still sufficient. Breakfast was served in a quaint room. It was very rich with regional products and homemade fruit purees. We were spoiled like mothers. The Paulis are people in a good mood, they were full of energy and ideas and talked about their surroundings and the activities that you can experience, so we were happy to accept their tips. We even went to Lippelsdorf together, to a small Wagner & Apel porcelain factory. This is run by the 5th generation. You could ask the people on site during the tour and they were also warm and willing to provide information. There are very open people in this area.Go there, try it out, it might be good.We say thank you for your hospitality.

Definitely the best accommodation on my “run”! Felt like at home. Breakfast was the "burner", I had a flower meadow on my roll, in the middle of November, plus 8 different jams... Great! The garden is lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. How beautiful will it look in summer?You Pauli's with the squirrels are a real experience on the Rennsteig!

After a long hike and looking for accommodation… I received a soooo warm welcome. For me... coming from Saxony... I had a coffee straight away 😂I immediately felt at home. I was told about the country, people, history of the house and porcelain production in Limbach in an open and natural way. A delicious dinner and a loving breakfast made the overnight stay a feel-good experience... strengthened and impressed by the hospitality, we set off on the last 2 stages of the Rennsteig.

A great hostel with a (magical garden) also for hikers and pilgrims. The "hiker's room" is equipped with everything you need. For the “Thuringian breakfast” there were, among other things, 9! various homemade spreads and eggs from happy chickens with names. Nice conversations and a look at the in-house squirrels included.

Very nice “host parents”! Great family atmosphere. The highlight are the cute squirrels. The apartment is large enough for a family of three and is equipped with the essentials. The terrace is nice to relax. Once across the street and you're on the Rennsteig.

An absolutely recommended accommodation on the Rennsteig. The landlords were super nice and served us an excellent farmer's breakfast. The room, although a bit small, was very idyllic.
