On Saturday, June 15th, we were able to celebrate our bachelorette party in the barn with the Barnickel family.The location is really beautiful and harmoniously furnished and large enough that we could accommodate all of the guests. (approx. 120 people)The facilities include a large kitchen, a large bar with many refrigerators and suitably modern toilets. There is a large dance floor and enough tables and chairs.Suitable for really all celebrations. We'd love to come back. Absolute recommendation 👍🙂

Okay, how should I say it? Just genius. You rarely see something so nice and beautiful. Perfect for a group of hikers. You immediately feel welcomed into the family. Clear recommendation.

I didn't stay there.We held our Muki Bazaar in the barn.I think the barn is incredibly beautiful.There is so much love in the details everywhere.If I have a bigger celebration I would definitely like to celebrate there 🍾Only recommended

Easy to reach, parking available, family friendly, centrally located, a 20 minute walk to the city center. Responds to requests, pets on site. Sheep, goats, cats etc.

We were campers on the Barnickel family's meadow during the "Festung Rockt" festival, as the campsite had to be spontaneously moved to the Barnickel family's meadow (unfortunately I don't know exactly why).Wow, that was great!Toilet vans, showers, the space for our tent and the unbeatable friendliness of the Barnickel family, who sold coffee to go and exchanged a friendly word with everyone, as well as lots of tips and recommendations for the city of Kronach (sightseeing in front of the first bands was easily possible) .The city of Kronach is wonderful to look at and the festival organizers put so much passion into this event that we felt it from the first minute!We have decided to take our children on a “serious” city trip to Kronach very soon and check in directly at the farm there.I can only advise everyone to take a vacation there, take a look at this beautiful little town and enjoy the friendly and loving Barnickel family with their beautiful farm!And we really hope that we can camp and celebrate there again next year! We send many greetings from Lower Franconia and look forward to next year!

For over 25 years I have been drawn to this great family and the beautiful farm in Kronach. They have now become like my second family. I get there and forget everything around me. Everything is just right here. Heart, nature, animals, happiness, helpfulness, solidarity, hospitality. Lisa & Steffi take care of their guests and apartments carefully and lovingly. Everything here is furnished with a lot of love and is clean. But you shouldn't forget that it is a farm. If you expect luxury, you should go to the hotel. Kronach and the surrounding area are simply great for children. Summer toboggan run, swimming pool, climbing park, caves, there is everything your heart desires here. And Kronach, Kulmbach, Bamberg, Coburg are beautiful and always worth a trip. So if you want to spend a comfortable, relaxed, varied holiday in the Franconian Forest with animals and nice people, you've come to the right place. A small drawback are the tracks directly at the farm. However, if you book an apartment in the inner courtyard, you won't benefit much from itimpaired. Thank you, dear Thierauf family, for 25 years of hospitality and unforgettable times.

We rented the entire holiday farm for a weekend in September for our family reunion. Each family had its own apartment, which was fully equipped with a kitchen and bathroom. The rooms were ok, functionally furnished.We were also allowed to use the large celebration barn. This impressed us all! Lots of space and a nice atmosphere! A kitchen including complete equipment and a dishwasher is available. Grilling in the yard was also possible. We were allowed to use everything. Since we had the most beautiful weather that weekend, we also spent the afternoon on the beautiful sun terrace. The owners are also very nice and helpful and are always there on the farm. It was also very nice for the children, as there is also a children's playground and a few animals live on the farm.We really enjoyed our stay.Thank you very much and best regards from Saxony-Anhalt.
