Rooms are a bit old. But I had a meeting there with my team and the staff is super friendly and they have an excellent meeting room and banquet manager.I have rarely seen such friendly and hard-working people. We would love to come back, even if we have significantly reduced the average age. In the restaurant it's a bit like a retirement home, but it didn't bother us.Recommended for company events because they really make an effort there

Everything as expected Parking space should be reserved right away. Breakfast really great. It's a shame that my email request about a forgotten item wasn't answered.

Unfortunately very disappointing:The room wasn't cleaned properly (there was still a small metal ring on the suitcase bench, possibly from a bunch of keys or something similar), and there were still pubic hairs from the previous guest in the bathroom. The shower gel dispenser by the bathtub was only a quarter full, the toilet seat was sitting extremely crooked on the toilet, and the panel on the minibar door was hanging at half past seven.I would have liked fresh rolls at the breakfast buffet instead of these little mini baked rolls. You also spend an incredible amount of time in front of the elevators in this building because they either pass by or are completely overcrowded, so you are forced to wait for the next one. Unfortunately there are only two official ones, the third is actually only intended for staff. The worst thing is the musty smell in the hallways and rooms. It's unbearable in the room with the window closed. The only positive thing is the location right on the beach. This house does absolutely no credit to the Maritim brand.

We really liked the hotel. The location on the beach and at the same time at the beginning of the pedestrian zone.Everything was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating.Good and very varied breakfast. The pool and sauna area were pleasantly relaxed, certainly because of the time of year (end of October). The use of at least the 90°C sauna including sauna towels is now free. However, signage and usage instructions for the changing rooms could be improved. The cupboards have keys that can be obtained for a deposit in the anteroom or at reception.

We have been guests at the Maritim Seehotel Timmendirfer Strand for many years and always feel that we are in excellent hands. The friendliness, attentiveness, competence and helpfulness of the employees are excellent in all areas, whether at the reception, the complete service in the house or housekeeping and leave nothing to be desired. We recommend this hotel 100% and would be happy to come back.

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. Terrible experience. If the CEO would only know how bad the service is!…

Great location, facilities are getting old.Been coming here for 20 years. Unfortunately it was super crowded this time. Well then good for the hotel. However, the management remains at the same level. There is far too little here for our future, namely the children. The playground behind the hotel was removed some time ago (unfortunately it was used as a dog toilet by many piglets) and the management was unable to stop it, let alone place a new one. Furthermore, the play area next to the elevator is far too dangerous. It was also allowed to bring large and small dogs into the breakfast room. There were some unpleasant incidents here and the staff had to remain friendly. There was a lot of dog hair on the chairs afterwards and drool on the edges of the table, not to mention biting moments before. We love animals and have dogs and cats at home, but we can't imagine taking them with us in such crowds or elevators. Despite everything, a big thank you to the entire waiter and kitchen team.
