I think the hotel is great! I was there once on a school trip and really enjoyed it. The city was also very, very nice. Rooms were tidy, everything was nice and clean, food was very tasty. I recommend it in any case

Check in possible from 2 p.m. to 6 p.mThe hotel room and bathroom are clean and tidy.The breakfast was very tasty, good selection and, if desired, delicious scrambled eggs.Price/performance ratio is great!RecommendationMinuses:With the windows open you can hear the traffic a lot because the hotel is right on the main street.In the middle of the week it is very difficult to find a restaurant that is open.

There are positive and negative things to judge.Positive:Very clean rooms with a decent hairdryer in the bathroom, which is not fixed and has several heat settings. Hallways and adjoining rooms are also clean, tidy and well-maintained.The dinner is of good quality and very tasty. The first evening it was really perfect. The portions are large and you will be more than full. The service staff was quick and had everything well under control.The breakfast was also very good. Fresh bakery rolls, homemade jams and a very diverse selection. If you don't get enough, it's your own fault. There was sausage, cheese, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, fruit, raw vegetables and various types of rolls. Large selection of coffee and tea. Finally a hotel that doesn't serve half-baked rolls, but really good bakery rolls.Negative:Unfortunately, the second dinner wasn't so perfect. We ordered the summer salad with apricots, strawberries and chanterelles and the summer bowl with lentils and chanterelles. The food came and was put in front of us without comment. The summer salad had nectarines instead of apricots and the chanterelles were completely missing. At the summer bowl, sugar snap peas were served instead of chanterelles. Parmesan and pumpkin seeds were also missing. The whole thing is stupid if you are not informed in advance and have an allergic reaction to nectarines and snow peas. After I asked the service person, a different one than the previous evening, to come to our table and complained about the missing chanterelles, all I said was: well, they're all 🤷‍♀️. Um, yeah, it's not a problem. But if I order something with chanterelles, I also want chanterelles. Otherwise I would choose something else or dine somewhere else. I again asked the waitress to ask the chef what alternatives he could offer me to satisfy us. Good, customer-oriented chefs would now come to the guest, talk to the guest and make alternative suggestions. But no, he didn't show up and let them know that you get €2 off the summer salad and €4 off the summer bowl. Well, what good is the cheap price if I have to eat something I didn't want? This is not a service!!! That's exactly what reminded me of GDR times. The guest was given something other than what he had ordered without comment. After almost 25 years, those times should be over. There is still some catching up to be done here when it comes to customer-oriented actions. This is absolutely not possible!Breakfast on Sunday was just as good as on Saturday, except for the rolls. Unfortunately the rolls were from the day before and therefore rubbery. I would have overlooked that if it hadn't been for the incident the night before.I would have liked to give full stars because our stay was almost perfect. If the service is improved here, we would be happy to come back. Something can always go wrong, but you should communicate it accordingly if dishes cannot be served as tasty as shown on the menu.

(same operator)The hotel is primarily aimed at school trips and is therefore more functional.Individual guests are also welcome on weekends.All of the staff we met were extremely courteous and helpful!Thank you for the great quality of service, see you next time!

I was in Steinach spontaneously at the weekend and was very happy that my colleague from the hotel spontaneously had a room for us. It is centrally located, very clean and stylishly furnished.Very nice staff in all areas, it was definitely not my last visit.

We were here with three classes for a school trip. It was really great, the rooms / apartments were very well equipped. Breakfast and dinner were rich and very tasty. Special praise goes to the staff. The employees offered us a great and eventful 2-day program and were always available to answer any questions or small problems. We all enjoyed it and would love to come back.
