I discovered this guesthouse more by chance; I was looking for accommodation for myself and my dog as a participant in a mantrailing event. We were welcomed very nicely, dog, slightly larger, no problem at all. The direct access through the garden to the forest is ideal for quick dog walks, where hiking trails also begin (unfortunately we didn't have time for that). Everything was very clean, the breakfast was rich, there was a parking space on the property. The owner and the chambermaid are very friendly and accommodating. And - as an encore there was the deer rut behind the house...😄. Thank you very much, if it turns out, this guesthouse will be my first choice again

My brother and I had a lovely weekend in Luisenthal.We had a large 3-bed room, which at €84 including breakfast was cheaper than other accommodations in Oberhof.It takes about 10 minutes by car to Oberhof.The spring mattresses were comfortable (firm) and the rooms seemed clean.The shutters darkened the windows very well.The breakfast was cheap and sufficient, but nothing spectacular. Rolls, sausage, cheese, jam and spreadable cheese, orange juice and yoghurt.Unfortunately, there was absolutely no view from the room in the middle building (you could see the wall of the building next door from the window).What should be highlighted, however, is the very friendly and helpful hostess, who was available at any time. It was no problem to book breakfast upon arrival and the check-in time was very flexible, even in the morning.From the accommodation it takes around 15 - 20 minutes to reach the Ohra Dam, where various hikes are available (e.g. a complete walk around, around 17 km, or the path over the backdrop rocks and past the "Biathlon Young Talent Center" back to the accommodation, around 15 km)All in all, I was satisfied with the accommodation and would probably return at some point 😉

In the small but very beautiful, comfortable and very clean guesthouse, everything has been brought up to a new and modern standard and is constantly being maintained. The rooms are very friendly with bright furniture and the rooms were completely cleaned every day. Here you can really unwind. The owners are very friendly and extremely accommodating. There are plenty of good, accessible parking spaces available behind the house and on the main street. The breakfast is very rich and balanced, where everyone should be full. The price-performance ratio was more than excellent. We would love to come back! The family Pension Wiederkehr can definitely be recommended to all travelers.

Hello, I am a bike traveler and had a major bike breakdown, but Mr. Frank helped me straight away despite my dirty appearance and was able to spend the night spontaneously. The next morning the great breakfast was ready and he gave me advice on how I could push the bike to the next workshop, because the path was downhill. Where should you start? First of all, thank you very much again to the Dünbeil family. The rooms are very nice and well-kept, the food tastes wonderful, the Dünbeil family is very friendly and helpful, you just feel comfortable and in good hands. We had a really nice weekend with you. Today we discovered this hidden café on the country road for the first time.The service was nice and competent. What we ordered also tasted very good and the price-performance ratio was excellent.What is particularly noteworthy is that despite a large social event taking place inside, no guest who visited the location "by the way" noticed anything of the stress.Thank you very much - we'll be back
