Only the village is lovely...+ clean, functionally furnished holiday apartment+ beautiful playground for children of all ages+ Room with various drinks and ice cream for purchase on a trust basis+ Washing machine can be used for a fee- brash, unfriendly tone of the hosts towards guests- Homepage promises more than reality offers (pictures are also older, which can be seen from the host children)- There was no involvement of the children in farm life outside of riding- Suspension bridge on playground broken- no common room/play barn for bad weather- Departure, or Vacation of the holiday apartment at 9 a.m. - for families with children, the end of the holiday quickly becomes stressfulTogether with our toddlers (1 and 3.5 years old) we were looking forward to our vacation in Liebesdorf. The homepage promised a holiday with a farm feeling. When we arrived there, we were greeted quite coldly and instructed in the most important aspects of waste separation.A little warmth and it would be so easy to welcome guests and ensure a good start to your holiday...The apartment itself was big enough and clean for 4 people. The furnishings (including kitchen inventory) also included all the items needed.Only the sockets are not childproof and are easily accessible, especially for small children - this would be important for families with small children to make up for.Luckily for us, right from the start we met a wonderful family with children of the same age and spent a great time with them.Otherwise it would have remained quite quiet in the yard during the day.The hosts can be seen here and there doing yard work and they often only appear actively when there is something to criticize (the covered vehicle fleet is not put away correctly and neatly, various toys can only be used in the playground and not in the yard, …).Unfortunately, a barbecue evening advertised on the homepage or feeding animals together does not take place and, to our bad luck (and we only found out about this after asking ourselves!), a tractor ride could also not be offered due to a defective tire.In general, the main focus of the hosts is on the horse riding. The animals seem well cared for (for me as a layperson) and the welfare of the animals is more important to the hosts than the welfare of the guests.Example: The horses/ponies on the farm are groomed for the afternoon ride - during this time, peace and quiet is required on the farm, which means the fleet cannot be used at this time. The horses are led down to the riding arena in stages and the guided riding/riding lessons begin there. Mind you, only on the riding arena and not in the surrounding forests/meadows as shown in the pictures.Since the playground is right next to the riding arena, from this moment on there is an exceptional atmosphere again and the children are only allowed to play quietly. In principle it's ok, but tell that to a small child with an urge to move...In order to remedy this “problem”, the grooming of the horses could be moved to another place (for example to the shelter in the upper pasture). This means that children who are not interested in riding or are too small at least have the opportunity to move around freely on the farm. The farm is also quiet from 8 p.m. to ensure guests get a good night's sleep. From this point on, the playground should be used instead. In summary, we found that a lot of the good holiday feeling was lost due to the less hospitable nature. It's a shame, because kindness costs nothing and achieves so much...Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation to anyone who would like to spend a holiday on a farm (we can only judge with small children).
