Stylish restaurant located in an old horse stable. Successful facility in connection with the past. Glass kitchen. Absolute feel-good atmosphere. Very good and varied but not overloaded menu. There are, among other things, lots of game dishes, but also tarte flambée. There is also a lot on offer for children, under adventurous names. The service is excellent. Price/performance 1a. Absolutely recommended.

The Red Castle catered our wedding at the Götzenburg. Mr. von Berlichingen and Ms. Zimmerlich looked after us. Mr. von Berlichingen welcomed us for the initial meeting and banquet planning and took all of our (special) requests into account and implemented them. We didn't expect so much flexibility and open-mindedness. Ms. Zimmerlich in particular is absolute madness, always available, professional and experienced. Despite rescheduling our celebration several times due to the weather, she always remained optimistic and flexible - she played a key role in ensuring that our celebration was a real day of celebration. We were also impressed by the kitchen and service team. The very good quality of the food, the presentation and the attentive, friendly staff were wonderful. Everyone is on their toes, always has a smile on their faces and every wish is fulfilled immediately.Our guests were just as enthusiastic as we were. We also found the price-performance ratio to be very fair. All costs were discussed in advance and calculated accordingly, very transparently.Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day unforgettable!

Very nice restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. Very interesting menu and delicious food at reasonable prices. The landlady and the staff were extremely nice and competent. This restaurant can be recommended without reservation. Gladly again.

Was just in the beer garden. Very nice staff. Fast service despite the high volume. Food delicious. Prices completely ok.

We chose this restaurant as a group because the menu suggested that the vegans in the team would also be well looked after. Unfortunately, this is exactly where we were very disappointed. It was OK for meat eaters, but since the specially ordered corn on the cob and vegan sausages sizzled together with the meat on a grill and were smoked accordingly, they were not edible for vegans. Everything was moved with the same grill tongs - a clear no-go. Even the small salad buffet didn't have much for vegans and the bread provided was very sparse. Even the vegan boss of the group went home a little hungry. It's a shame that they don't put a little more effort into this. Otherwise the location is actually quite attractive. On the positive side, there was at least one vegan dessert.

Ambiance was nice, some of the service staff weren't unfriendly, but you could tell that it was full and they seemed annoyed. Unfortunately the food wasn't good because the meat was cold.

The food was to die for. Everything is super fresh, high quality and plentiful. Can absolutely recommend the live-made noodles.The ambience is also completely convincing. A mixture of cozy, high-quality and well-repaired old walls.

Several weeks ago we made a table reservation for today and the restaurant actually gave us a table outside when the temperature was 12 degrees and it was raining. There were no alternatives due to overbooking. This is really disappointing :(

Unfortunately I can't judge the food because we were turned away, even though we made a reservation for a dinner a month ago. We didn't specify when making the reservation that we wanted to dine inside. Unfortunately, the information is not on the website and there is no sign that there is a beer garden there either. We showed up there in a suit and a light evening dress because the prices on the advertised menu indicate a high-quality restaurant rather than a beer garden with fried chicken and Obazda. It would have been nice if the receptionist had said she would take a look inside and see what the seats were like. We would also have agreed to a later date. But the receptionist's statement: “I would have been looking forward to 30 degrees in the shade” went too far. My dear lady: With that attitude, you should perhaps look for a job at the Ballermann and not in a castle restaurant. For us it wasn't about the weather, but about the ambience and the upscale class.
