Well-maintained accommodation and well-organized riding lessons for young and old. Very well-kept yard, good playground, indoor play barn and much more.Danger of repetition!!

We stayed at the holiday farm for 1 week with our 6 year old granddaughter. It was simply wonderful! Our apartment was a bit out of the way, Achter de Höf 2, but our granddaughter was able to drive quite quickly to the riding hall and play barn on her own in the Kettcar. All of the few drivers on the small street drive carefully.The three of us particularly enjoyed the community between the children. Here, little ones play with big ones, and the adults also get to know each other very quickly. Of course, the big barbecue evening also helps here.Everyone treats each other with respect and kindness. The atmosphere is just very good.We thought eggs, vegetables, food trucks and the sustainability of the table were great.A special thank you goes to the staff in the riding stable, with the goats and in the play barn.We are already looking forward to next year, because of course we have already booked.

Super great family vacation spot for active people and those seeking peace and quiet.The yard and apartments are well maintained.There is a wide range of options for children - riding opportunities including great care and instruction. In addition, a wide range of options in a quiet place where children can have fun - a variety of Kettcar variants and play options inside and outside.Good proximity to the beach and great recreational opportunities for parents too. Very happy again!

A great place for a family vacation! We felt very comfortable. The holiday apartment was very nice and the farm grounds are beautifully landscaped. There are plenty of activities (feeding the animals, carts, play barn, billiards, air hockey, table football…) and we were also able to rent bicycles on site. There is also an extensive offer for riding fans. The staff on site was very friendly and helpful.We would be happy to come back and can highly recommend the farm.

An all-round wonderful farm family holiday for young and old! We stayed at Hof Paulsen with our children (5 and 1) in July 2024 for almost 2 weeks. Everything is really well maintained, well thought out and family-friendly and there are plenty of things to do so that everyone can have fun: from feeding the animals, children's entertainment (crafts, etc.) and getting to know alpacas, to Kettcars, play barns, bicycles, etc. and even cinema evenings , barbecuing together or the swimming pool in Burg! As a special highlight, we were also able to experience pony riding - yes, a really super nice and loving team of horses! Thank you for the wonderful experiences with Gandi, Bounty and Co!Accommodated in the old school, we didn't miss anything, the equipment is modern, practical and child-friendly. The Paulsen team was also always available and provided friendly assistance with questions. Overall, definitely recommended for families, especially if you like beautiful farms, horses and the sea! :) We have already booked our stay for next year.

We stayed in the thatched house for a week. It was a beautiful accommodation, with a sea view and a horse paddock right outside the door. A nest swing and a deep trampoline were prepared in the garden for the children.In the immediate vicinity was the farm where you could rent mountain Kettcara, unfortunately other guests always exaggerated this a bit, which is why there were bottlenecks.Every morning the children were allowed to go and feed the animals. It was always a great experience for the little ones.The riding offer was great for young and old. The riding instructors really took their time with everyone and always had an open ear. We wish the teacher who slipped off her horse a speedy recovery.All in all it was a great vacation. Thanks for that.

The most beautiful pony farm so far❤️The hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful! We felt very comfortable 😊 we had the fewo am Hof 4. Everything was clean and nice (with sauna). When it came to the lower stairs, I was concerned that the small one would go up 1.5 years. The Paulsen family was kind enough to install a stair guard there too 🙏👍 really great!!!The animals are very well cared for and well kept, that is important to us 💕Above all, the ponies and the riding girls were our highlight! We were there before the holidays, for the dwarf weeks, where pony rides are free in the morning 😉 (But no beach rides, those only in the high season!!) We also booked bambini lessons (cleaning, strapping, riding) and horseback riding. The children aged 1.5 and 4.5 were very, very happy.The playground is great!! A huge wooden combine harvester, 2 trampolines, waterway, playhouses, huge houses for swinging, cable car... straw castle, half pipe and and and 😅Feed the animals in the morning and muck out the stable once.Of course we also went to the nearby beach, just beautiful 🥰 We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely come back ❤️😊Suggestions for improvement… yes, the pond scared me too. We didn't leave our children alone for a minute. Especially not the little one. I think a small wooden fence would help and wouldn't hurt the look. Still... there are cars driving, there are pigs... the ponies have electric fences... I wouldn't let them run unsupervised anyway.It would be nice if there was an opportunity to pet/feed animals and ponies during the day.Tip: the reception has the most beautiful postcards and stamps 🍀Thank you very much 💕

Simply a complete success for young and old!The houses and rooms are well maintained!The farm is super clean and has everything a child would like from toys to animals!The family and their employees are extremely friendly and the riders and their helpers are simply fantastic! We will definitely come back and can and will recommend the farm without hesitation!Thank you for two wonderful weeks!

Highly recommended! Great area. Nice apartment. Great offers and for children... pure paradise. Excellent service and we felt really welcome the whole time. Thanks to everyone who made our vacation such a wonderful experience. Great riding options for children. Thanks to all the nice ladies from the “Reitstall”. You did a great job and I learned that bigger horses are not my enemies. Bright, happy children's eyes were the best reward.We'll definitely be back.Keep it up! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

A great place for the kids! Parents everywhere have the opportunity to relax a bit with a view of the dwarves, there are plenty of opportunities to run around and play in the center of the farm, there are a few animals on site, a hay bouncy castle, a heated play barn and regular craft and play activities for the children. A bike can be rented on site and the terrace in front of the apartment invites you to relax. The apartment has everything you need, every corner is used and the furnishings are modern. Everything in my apartment wasn't completely up to date, but it still serves its purpose. We didn't spend much time in the apartment anyway, as there is so much to discover in the surrounding area (about 10 minutes by car)! What felt like 100 Kettcars on the farm were also very popular... The children enjoyed being driven or racing around the farm on their own. The farm is a car-free zone, so parents can relax. The Staberhuk cliffs, a natural beach about 1km away, are a nice destination for collecting shells or stones and dipping your feet in the water. For swimming with children, I recommend one of the surrounding sandy beaches. Everything is easy to reach by bike. Two hours of visiting the swimming pool are included every day, which I also found to be very positive. After all, the swimming pool is always possible if the weather changes. At the farm, the animals were fed every morning at 8:30 a.m. together with the children and once a week everyone was able to help with mucking out. We only used it once because we decided to sleep in... We didn't really get the farm feeling because the focus on the farm was more on the horses, which my daughter liked much more . All in all, all the employees were very friendly and answered the children's questions. There is a communal washing machine on site and there are plenty of shopping opportunities just under 6km away. We really liked it and we will definitely come back again!

We stayed in the Hinrichsberg apartment upstairs for a week in March. The holiday apartment was clean and met the requirements for a holiday with the grandchildren. The kitchen had everything you needed. We really liked the farm, the children were able to keep themselves very busy. Larger enclosures would be more pleasant for the animals/goats/guinea pigs/rabbits and pigs. Unfortunately, there were occasional heating failures, but the Paulsen family always took care of the problem immediately. I recommend this holiday apartment. for families with slightly older children, as it is not directly on the farm. We would come again, but try another apartment.
