Quiet, small site with a focus on long-term camping. But I was also welcomed very friendly for one night. Sanitary and kitchen top, prices very reasonable. Animal visitors possible.. :-)) Gladly again..!

My partner and I had one night at the camping place with our dog and tent. It was a very good location and had everything we needed (good shower facilities, we bought a wash for clothes and good place to stay with the tent). It was very clean everywhere !Petra and her husband were both very polite and friendly and helped us with our wash and came to say hello.We would definitely recommend a stay at Steffen-Mesters camping.

Camping in the great outdoors for the first time, called at short notice and booked a spot.You will be welcomed very warmly and politely, very child and animal friendly.Very nice location, beautiful sights and lots of forest for walking included.Very well maintained rooms as well as toilets and shower rooms.As mentioned above, it was our first time in a tent and I have to say it was a lot of fun, dogs are welcome there, which I personally find very important.For example, a foosball table has been set up there for the kiddies.There is a nice grill area (covered) there, and you can also get a fire bowl for e.g. good bread.So overall, the location with this beautiful nature really made us forget the weekend and everyday life.In my opinion it's worth a trip there at any time.It's also great that an ice cream truck arrives there every day in the summer between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.It was so nice for us that we booked again for this week.

Warning! Rough road to get to the campsite. No overnight camping!! Only seasonal camping with regular guests. Google maps should remove it!!!!

Nice and quiet. Kitchen, shower, toilets etc. can also be found here. The owners are very nice and helpful. We often go there to unwind.

Beautifully located and quiet campsite with decent and clean sanitary facilities. We (my 5-year-old son and I) stood on the tent field with a small tent near a few other tents. Fortunately, that field looked a lot nicer than the field with the caravans. Unfortunately, there was no water connection on the tent field, so I often had to walk to the sanitary building for cooking, drinking, washing hands, etc. I would also have preferred if I could park the car near the tent, at least while setting up and packing up. Now I had to walk back and forth a lot. The sanitary facilities were clean and in good condition, perhaps partly due to the many instructions. I personally have no problem with clear instructions, so I know what is expected of me, but others may find it disturbing. All in all, about what I expected, with the bonus of a beautiful choir of (breeding?) birds every evening and morning.

We ended up there looking for an annual place, but there was currently nothing available. The owners still willingly and friendly showed us around the place. We would have had the opportunity to be put on a waiting list there by email, but decided against it due to the fact that the place is on a very steep slope. We want to travel in the caravan more often and that wouldn't be as easy as in other places.
