We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2024 as we got married nearby.We had a lot of contact by email and telephone beforehand. We wanted to book a honeymoon suite for ourselves. On the phone, an employee recommended another “nicer room” with air conditioning in the new building. The air conditioning point convinced us immediately and we agreed. Together with a few wedding guests we brought with us, it was always clearly communicated that we were booking rooms with air conditioning. This was emphasized several times by email.When we arrived at the hotel on the morning of our civil wedding to collect the room keys (check-in was not yet possible), the first impression was very good, despite the many communication problems at the beginning, because the employee was very friendly and the building complex has a really nice atmosphere. We were also able to hang up the wedding dress and suit for the big celebration the following Sunday so that they remained wrinkle-free. Suitcases, however, could not be stored.The employee was also nice enough to show us our room. Due to the excitement and time pressure, we unfortunately didn't immediately notice that the room assigned to us in our booking was not a room in the new building and therefore was not equipped with air conditioning. We only noticed this after we were able to move into the room properly late in the evening.We reported this inconvenience the following day. Unfortunately, the hotel was almost completely booked, so we only got a very, very small room. But now one with air conditioning. It was no longer possible for our other guests to change rooms.In retrospect, we noticed that there were also guests of ours who had nicer and larger rooms, which annoyed us a bit as a wedding couple who had previously intended to book the honeymoon suite.The breakfast buffet is in a great room, but we found the selection to be inadequate for the price and the hotel class. The vegetarians among our guests in particular expressed their dissatisfaction with the breakfast. I only had breakfast twice and my husband once. This cost us €102. We only noticed the very high amount when we checked all the bills after the wedding. Apparently we were also charged for breakfast, which we hadn't used.Different statements were also made regarding breakfast times. When we checked in we were told that there would be a buffet until 10:00. Even if we came at 10:30, that wouldn't be a problem. After our wedding, some guests had arranged to have breakfast and arrived in the breakfast room at 9:30 a.m. At this point the buffet was no longer replenished. Only when we asked was some scrambled eggs prepared for us, with the note that breakfast was only available until 9:00 a.m.When we checked out, we clearly communicated our disappointment and we were then offered a cheaper room. On the day of departure, we noticed at home that we hadn't received any invoice. We requested this by email on the same day. A few days later and now after the third email asking me to send the invoice, the invoice finally arrived with the comment that it was probably sent by email the day before the third request and may have ended up in my spam folder. (I come from the IT industry and can clearly say that this was not the case, as the invoice file shows on the creation date that the invoice was created a few minutes before it was sent.)In retrospect, we are very unhappy with the choice of hotels and it is more than a shame for us as a wedding couple, as we would have actually wanted nice memories.I would like to positively highlight the beautiful, clean rooms in the new building and the generally nice ambience of the hotel complex.

Stately and lovingly renovated building. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted excellent. Service perfect. A successful evening.

We were in the restaurant and ate in the wonderful garden. The ambience is fantastic, the service is very good. The food was top quality, the drinks, especially the wines, were very good. Very child-friendly, there are enough parking spaces. Really a great location and certainly not the last time we were there!!

Delicious food in the estate restaurant, nicely presented, many vegetarian options. The annex offers quiet, newly renovated and modernly equipped rooms with a view of the old town. Nice wineries within walking distance. Great, romantic location for celebrations.

Great location for seminars, very good food

A wonderful hotel-restaurant with excellent restaurant cuisine and tasteful rooms. We were there last year and now again. We think the house, the facility and the people who work there are great!

Food, service, location, wines, everything is just perfect. Definitely come back
