Tuesday rest day. You can't find any opening times. Not on the internet either. You notice it when you stand in front of the door. That's how it was on 10/22/24.

We had a short hike with our company followed by a stop at the mountain inn. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food tasted very good and was fresh. We were very satisfied

Was there for the first time this week and it was also the last time.How you can still call something like that a restaurant is absolutely questionable.Condition poor.... the food is just frozen stuff from the starter to the main course to the dessert.... The menu that was handed out was just as poor....I ordered a Hefe, well there was a lot of Pils.The shocking conclusion was that me and a colleague had hair in their food.And when you see the prices then the food just comes back up.I could list more but I'll leave that out for now.UNFORTUNATELY never ever again......

We went here for dinner twice on our vacation, we can only recommend the food is good and the service too. Our dog was also provided with water. Great value for money. Thank you for that.

Restaurant Ars...cold. Unprofessional service. Hectic running back and forth. Has more of a canteen feel. Food so-so. Relatively expensive but not good quality. We were guests of the previous operator several times, which was definitely more comfortable and tastier. Unfortunately no recommendation.We were guests on January 27th, 2024.A young woman at the next table also complained that it was too cold and put on her jacket, just like my wife.We ate lentil soup, pork schnitzel and steak au four. The main dishes were extremely dry and economical. The lentil soup was slightly burnt.The waiter's service was okay. The waitress, an older man in "civilian clothes" was helpless. Cutlery was only brought after asking. The greeting from the kitchen came with the main course and was pushed away without a word. The old bar's swing door was extremely annoying and disruptive. The corner with the old cupboard for cutlery etc, as well. The work there was so loud that other guests also felt disturbed. The running back and forth was probably caused by forgetfulness, as something constantly had to be brought.

Very nice, completely newly renovated house in a quiet location and yet a central starting point for various excursions/hikes. Rooms very comfortable, breakfast extensive and delicious. The restaurant offers appealing home-style cooking. You feel very well looked after, hosted and completely comfortable! The house is highly recommended!

Very nice family-run hotel. The breakfast is very good and rich. It is only about 2 km to the parking lot on the Kleiner Fichtelberg. And from there it's off to the slopes.In the evening you can also enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel.All the staff are friendly, the rooms are typically furnished for the region and clean.Absolute recommendation.

Let me tell you about my fantastic experience at the hotel “Berggasthof - Neues Haus”. Right from the start I felt warmly welcomed when I entered the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made my stay unforgettable. The rooms were cozy and comfortable with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain landscape.The absolute highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the delicious food in the hotel's restaurant. The dishes were freshly prepared, of outstanding quality and simply irresistibly delicious. I felt like a foodie and was able to enjoy the regional specialties to the fullest.The location of the hotel is also simply perfect. It is located in the middle of nature, surrounded by green meadows and just a stone's throw from the Fichtelberg and the Keilberg. A true retreat of peace and relaxation away from city life.All in all, I can warmly recommend the “Berggasthof - Neues Haus”! The ideal place to switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and allow yourself to be pampered."

Thank you very much for the unforgettable stay at the Berggasthof “Neuen Haus” 🫶 the care of the guests is a matter of the heart here and is lived with a lot of love. Young and old are welcome here, the food is delicious, the rooms are very cute and lovingly furnished and the service is priceless!!! You notice that the employees welcome the guests with passion and fulfill every wish! It was an enchanting stay for us as a family and we are looking forward to the next visit!
