I booked three nights.What I didn't like:- hidden costs everywhere that are not shown on the website: bathrobe, towel, slippers... please just take two three euros more per night but paying extra for the bathrobe and slippers in a wellness hotel is not a four star hotel contemporary and outrageous. Despite many business trips somewhere else with 4 stars, I have never experienced something like this.- Unfortunately, saunas only open from 2 p.m- When it was 30 degrees, I was forced to lie inside instead of outside in the sun because the door to the outside was closed every day. I absolutely don't understand why? The only way to get outside was through the sauna area, which was closed before 2 p.m.- Loungers in the wellness area are outdated and uncomfortable- Room under the attic overheated, no air conditioning, heat built up completely- The older lady in service is not unfriendly, but noticeably distant and cold - I always wonder why such people work in service when they obviously don't enjoy dealing with customersWhat I liked:Overall the kitchen.- the breakfast buffet was well stocked, lots of choices. Everything I tried was really tasty and well prepared.- Restaurant: both offer decent cuisine at a reasonable price.Unfortunately the gastronomy doesn't work for me.So I won't stay here again and wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone. You can also eat well in other hotels.

This was our second time at the Landhotel Schnuck with our dog.The location is very good, the food is tasty, the service at mealtimes is courteous, and the sauna is definitely a plus.The pool is not suitable for swimming due to its size and the room service is more like three stars than four.Coming back? Yes.

The atmosphere is very good, friendly service, the food is excellent and the breakfast is particularly good.

Unreservedly recommended! Ideal for chilling out on the weekend, modern, chic and neatly furnished. Wellness area, restaurant and breakfast (with honeycomb) top! Many a 4* hotel could take a look at how it's done here! Reviews with less than 5 stars are incomprehensible to me.See you next time.......Addendum: Thank you for the great handling of the seminar room booking and the on-site support.

A very nice hotel. The staff in particular are very attentive. The price-performance ratio was ok. The wellness area was great. The food was delicious. We were super satisfied. Thank you for a nice weekend. It was my daughter's bachelorette party. My sister and I were very happy about the great cooperation of the hotel staff.

Good day.We spent our summer vacation here and were blown away.On the positive side: The food was absolutely amazing. Very tasty, beautifully prepared and varied.The outside area was very well maintained.The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.On the negative side: The family room was simply dirty. The surfaces were neither vacuumed nor cleaned.The pool was only allowed to be used by the children until 2 p.m. because it is part of the sauna area and from 2 p.m. it can only be used without clothing and from 16 years of age. (It is not mentioned anywhere until you are told).And now our personal no go:Since we arrived with our electric car (we were told in advance that we could charge directly at the hotel) we wanted to charge immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately, one of two charging stations was defective and the functioning one was occupied. After waiting two hours I was able to load. However, we were told straight away that we would have to vacate the parking area as soon as the vehicle was fully charged and after four hours we would have to pay a penalty fee. I can live with that. On the last day before departure and the battery level was at 20%, I wanted to charge again. Unfortunately the space was occupied by a van that belonged to the hotel. That was at 11 a.m. in the morning. Towards 6 p.m. the van was still there. When asked at reception, the staff wanted to take care of it immediately. At 10 p.m. still nothing had happened! On the day of departure at 7:00 a.m. I went to look again. still there. When I asked the reception again, they said: "I'm really sorry. It's the boss who parks there. He hasn't been able to be reached yet."We left at 11 a.m. with an empty battery and had to go out to charge for another hour. It's a disgrace to set up such rules that everyone has to adhere to but the boss blocks the only charging station for 24 hours!!!!That pretty much ruined everything positive!

Actually a very nice hotel, in a good location in the Lüneburg Heath. The staff, especially in the catering area, is very friendly and tries to fulfill all of the guests' wishes. Complaints are handled very quickly and accommodatingly. The food in both restaurants is very good and is also served in the cozy beer garden. But what is impossible for a 4-star is the lack of room service. This is more at youth hostel level. For “sustainability reasons”, rooms are only cleaned from the 3rd day onwards. The friendly staff member at reception couldn't answer me why making beds or emptying the wastebasket affects sustainability. Unfortunately, this service issue is not pointed out when booking; a small display at the reception should suffice as a notice.The breakfast is very good and varied. It's a shame that there are two table times here, which you have to decide on during the lecture.Parking is available, but was completely full during our stay.On balance, I have to say that the friendly service, the really good food and the beautiful weather make my stay a positive one.

Nice hotel, quietly located, but a bit outdated. There are no sockets in the room!! You can only either charge your smartphone or turn on the floor lamp while lying in bed. There was no socket at the desk! Room cleaning according to information in the room only for stays of more than 2 nights. We were there for 3 nights and the room was never (!) cleaned. We have never experienced this in a 4-star hotel. Service in the restaurant and bar was ok, but unfriendly and inattentive at breakfast.
