The food tastes very good and everything is freshly prepared, again at any time.Small family business, short waiting times and friendly service.We had dinner at Wastl, so I can't say anything about the rooms.

Small family business. Very tasty food, friendly service. You have to wait a bit, but everything is freshly prepared. Nice terrace. One of the few remaining restaurants in the region. Ideal for a stop after a day of hiking.

We didn't spend the night there, only had dinner twice. The food was great, as was the service. And all at reasonable prices. Unfortunately there aren't many restaurants in the area anymore, so it's even better that there is a very good one!

We were recently in the Bavarian Forest and while looking for accommodation we came across the Gasthof Wastl. We had a room for 2 nights, although small, but nicely renovated and, above all, spotlessly clean!! The breakfast was excellent, with orange juice, eggs, sausage and cheese and all for 22 euros per night/per person. ! The schnitzels were also very tasty and the smooth beer after a long day was a pleasure. We'd love to come back!

It was just perfect. We were guests for 2 nights and that's how we felt. The rooms are small but very clean, comfortable and lovingly furnished. We also had a nice balcony with a nice view. The dinner, it was schnitzel day, was delicious and filling. The waitress was delightful and even though there was a loss of power that day, she had everything under control. We really enjoyed the evening. The breakfast really offers everything your heart desires. It is very rich and there is always something left over. Many thanks also to the boss and the whole team who gave us a very nice stay. We are already looking forward to seeing you again.

We are on holiday in Lohberg and became aware of the inn on the internet. The food tasted very tasty. We had the pork medallions in pepper cream sauce with the spaetzle and the classic currywurst with fries. Both really tasty! The service was very accommodating and we felt very comfortable in the rustic beer garden. The prices are definitely not overpriced either!We'll definitely be here again on Schnitzel Day 😉
