Hello dear team,...I received a very warm and friendly welcome from Antje, I received all the information I needed straight away and the rest of my questions were answered in a very friendly manner. Great! That was a great start! The room was very large, clean, and the bathroom was great! The location of the hostel near the lake is awesome if, like me, you love nature, peace and solitude.A great breakfast in the morning with a lot of choice, ... and also vegetarian spreads. Top! Didn't miss anything! On the contrary, ... in the morning I was even offered a fresh fried egg, ... which I immediately used! Very tasty, ... and the staff at breakfast were also super friendly.Tables were even decorated with flowers and the room was decorated with a mix of autumn decorations and typical Erzgebirge decorations. Invites you to feel good. The inquiry, reservation and final booking went smoothly. For the future, I would like to see a way to do this without having to send back the signed contract first. Of course it works... but it's a bit complicated and maybe not everyone can do it. So complaining at a high level, but there may be room for improvement.I am often in the region and would love to come back. Possibly already in winter. So keep it up, dear team.dearest greetingsMicah

We were there with 233 people as the Chemnitz City Youth Fire Department.I was very satisfied, despite a few problems within the management, they always tried to make everything possible for us.We had a lovely weekend and will definitely come back!

We were repeatedly at the youth hostel to carry out our puzzle camp.As an assistant, Ms. Polster and her team behind her very sensitively fulfilled all wishes. This made it a complete success for us. Supply, conditions top 👌We'd love to come back, keep it up.M. Schuch High School Zschopau

I can only advise everyone against it! FYI: We were on a school trip and booked the outdoor sports program. The youth hostel was very dirty, there was chewing gum in the beds and on the floor, there was no sweeping or mopping, bathrooms were unclean, there was no soap in the rooms...Service was subpar and disorganized. We had to do everything ourselves. A box of wood and grill lighter were thrown at us for the campfire, no lighter... A man would have something like that with him. There were neither sticks for bread nor a knife for carving. We didn't get one either, same stupid saying again. We also had to design all of the program items for the children ourselves and only received the material. The only thing that was nice was the climbing forest. Staff unfriendly (also towards the children, no child-friendly language) and not helpful. Eating little and bad. We were charged for things we didn't use. For 140€ it's a shame! We won't be coming back!

So organizationally it's just goosebumpsNo matter what we booked, apart from the barbecue, everything was forgotten or expressed incorrectly when booking.Even when we grilled we didn't get the exact menu. Instead, an alternative was given. If that doesn't suit you, you're out of luck 🫡The rooms were very clean and you could also eat the food. There are worse things but I expected better for 150 dollars. That was nonsense!!
