The hotel is like a youth hostel. Doors not tight. The lock on the bathroom door was defective and was not repaired in 6 days despite complaints. Narrow cupboard not usable as there are no compartments.

Spent a weekend here. Everything is okay so far. The rooms are a bit old and could be a bit cleaner. The location is great and the staff is very accommodating. There is something for everyone at breakfast and it is plentiful.

Apart from that it is very inconspicuous and the location is only partially suitable for bicycle tourists. At least for drivers without electrical support. It's only 3 cross streets away from the Rhine, but the 100 meters in altitude gave us a bit of trouble. There is a storage room where the bikes can be stored safely. Our room was clean and we had a peaceful sleep. The breakfast buffet was neat and well stocked.

Clean and tidy room. Delicious breakfast . A bit out of the way but bus stop in front of the door. If you're good on foot, you can also walk to the German corner, for example. Took about 60 minutes to do it.

We were also unlucky enough to be able to move into room 6. The room itself is ok, but at night it is so bright due to the hotel lighting (glass pane in the door) that it is impossible to get a restful sleep. You also have the feeling of sleeping in the parking lot because it is extremely noisy and loud in places. We're leaving early and won't be coming back. The staff is friendly, but can only be reached via cell phone. The cleanliness in our room also left something to be desired, so we did it ourselves. Conclusion: Not worth the money. More of a motel than a hotel

Very good goose eaten. Unfortunately, the smell in the winter garden prevented us from eating dessert.

Only the restaurant is rated because I don't know the hotel. The food is to die for. Lovingly freshly cooked and always attractively presented. Choices on the menu are also varied. There's something for everyone, Italian, good, vegetarian. Service is warm and friendly. However, the goose meal is unbeatable. So delicious, crispy with home-made sauce, with my personal highlight being the glazed chestnuts, and the crowning glory is the baked apple with marzipan and nuts. UNBEATABLE in terms of taste, portion size and price-performance ratio. We look forward to this every year!!! So far we have not found a comparable offer in Koblenz or the surrounding area. THEREFORE unreservedly recommended.
