Rooms in the side wing renovated, staff very pleasant and friendly, problems are solved quickly for the guest, breakfast is super sufficient for the price, unfortunately everything is wrapped in plastic. Nice beer garden right on the Rhine.

The Hotel Restaurant “Zur Kripp” is located directly on the Rhine and therefore also on the Rhine cycle path. We were cycling during the 2024 European Football Championship and chose the hotel for an overnight stay because of the beautiful beer garden. Unfortunately, we had overlooked the fact that the kitchen was “closed” that day. Nevertheless, they tried to prepare a little something for us. So we had a nice evening in the beer garden with nice people and a football broadcast. The rooms are clean and sufficiently large. Breakfast was good. Our bicycles could be safely stored in the back room.

Excellent cuisine. Specializing in German cuisine, you can taste fresh and homemade love for the original classic recipe. Very very tasty. Of course there are also other delicious dishes on the menu. Super recommended, we would love to come back.

As a cyclist for one night O.K. If you want to stay longer you shouldn't have a room at the back of the railway line. The bathroom is tiny. To wash and brush your teeth you have to leave the door open so you can use the sink.It was neat and clean. Breakfast was very good, as was dinner in the beer garden. Friendly service.

Today I drove from St. Goar to Koblenz. With the ebike like some people do these days. Then I came to a beautiful beer garden (Zur Kripp) in front of which there were some bike racks. I asked if I could get electricity for my bike and something to drink. The answer was. I don't have any electrical outlets outside. Then I passed several sockets and got back to my bike and continued on. I would have liked to drink a few Erdingers and order something to eat. Totally lousy service.

The rooms shown in the pictures have nothing to do with the room that was made available to us, an attic room with a skylight window was an imposition, we left immediately, something like that was a complete impudence for the night for 110 euros. This one star is another negative star
