Unfortunately, the mixed reviews are true. The whole house including the spa area is very old. You can see here and there that makeshift attempts have been made to modernize. This results in a very special mix of styles.There was a vacuum cleaner in front of our room for the entire stay (24 hours). No idea why.In the evening at 9.10 p.m. there was a fire alarm - twice without comment, staff walked past and just said "false alarm - that happens before". It's a wellness hotel... we left our rooms, but also saw guests rushing out of the spa in bathrobes.The spa is actually okay, although the joints that were once white are now black and something needs to be done here and there. I find no service in the Spa Bistro impossible. You have to beg for towels.The waiter at dinner (mediocre) was very nice and attentive. The service at breakfast (great!) was also friendly.

There is still room for improvement at Wellbess. We had old bathrobes and sauna towels that were already worn out.Only 2 infusions a day, far too little for Wellbess.Too few service staff. We always enjoyed staying here, but this was the last time for us. No longer recommended.

Unfortunately, this hotel - perhaps due to the takeover of a franchiser (not visible on the homepage) - is completely outdated. It is obvious that absolutely nothing has been invested here for years. The Internet homepage shows photos that are certainly more than ten years old. Neither the facilities, nor the quality, nor the food are comparable to what is suggested online.Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio has to be described as absolutely catastrophic. Despite a booking confirmation via email, our booking could not be found when checking in. We were told that we were lucky because a room had been canceled on the same day - otherwise there wouldn't have been a room available to us.Despite repeated requests, all massages and cosmetic treatments were apparently fully booked - but the on-site rooms gave us the impression that no treatment at all was offered. Completely outdated and dark wooden huts, obviously with a wasp's nest inside. The overall staff density can be described as low. However, the staff on site were very helpful and friendly.Overall, a disappointing experience, especially given the quite high price. We won't be coming back and will definitely not recommend this hotel.

I have been there many times and really appreciate the hotel. The prices actually seem quite high, but that is unlikely to happen these days. In comparison to other hotels you can see that the prices are completely reasonable.However, I unfortunately have to say that the rooms could really use a bit of modernization. There is carpet everywhere and under the bed it didn't look particularly good. You could also take measures to repel mosquitoes. The room was very warm but unfortunately we couldn't open the windows; a fly screen or something similar could help here (you could see on the walls that some guests had already had mosquito problems).

Unfortunately it has waned somewhat in recent years.You can really notice fewer staff. Queue at reception, no more separate support in the spa area and the bistro looks a bit like a fast food restaurant.The remaining staff is still nice and the cosmetics department is professional.

We had booked a weekend for relaxation and wellness. The hotel is located in a small forest. Easily accessible by car. The hotel makes a good impression and the wellness area is very nice and spacious. You always had loungers and all the staff were very friendly. We took a free aqua course with Andrea, which she ran very intensively, brilliantly and with funny encouragement.Highly recommended. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience because the massages we had booked in advance were booked on the wrong date.That was a shame, especially since my girlfriend gave me the voucher for my birthday and that's why we booked it. Of course there was nothing more that could be done that weekend. We were also in the place hoping to get a spontaneous appointment with the Thai massage. Unfortunately and understandably everything was fully booked and the lady also told us that unfortunately this had happened many times. There were probably guests at her house where the same thing happened.Nevertheless, the stay was very nice and relaxing and since the gift voucher couldn't be redeemed, I will book again. Of course now only with a firm email confirmation of the massage.

The first time I went to the Tannenhäuschen was 11 years ago. Both times I found it very nice and was here with my husband.We booked a garden room. Unfortunately, the first room was a total disgrace, it smelled very unpleasant and was cold, damp, and the bathroom was also outdated and matched the description of “the originals”. An exchange was possible and the room that came was brighter and a little better, although it was clear here that hygiene and maintenance were not that high. Dirty joints on the shower partition, strange hair on the mirror shelf, cobwebs over the left mirror lamp, blood stains on the wallpaper on the left bed and the ceiling from killed mosquitoes or similar, window seal on the middle window hanging out. Minibar is switched on but empty and radiates a noticeably high level of heat. Incomprehensible in a hotel that foregoes room service for sustainable reasons.The sauna area is also getting a bit old in some parts and needs care.Maybe saved too much overall.We have a particularly positive memory of Andrea in the sauna area. She is customer-oriented, extremely friendly and the infusion instructions were great.We can't imagine doing it again.Price performance doesn't fit.
