Very nice little room that my wife and I immediately “fell in love with”. Modern bathroom.No TV or internet. We didn't need it for an overnight stay. But for others this may be important.Good food in the evening on the restaurant terrace. Very good breakfast.

We ate at the restaurant, it was a very good experience. The owners are welcoming and very friendly. The food is very good, the dishes are varied and the products used are of quality. In addition, the establishment is very suitable for babies, there is a high chair, a changing table and space for strollers.I can only recommend.

We were here to eat on the terrace, which has a great view of the cathedral. I chose the Mexican fajita in the hot pan. I can only recommend it, it was very tasty.

Miscellaneous We ate burgers, all delicious. 🥰 Salad also very good. Had spagetti Bolognese before - better than at the Italian restaurant. 😎Service friendly and quick. 😊 Really worth recommending. 👍🏻

Be careful with the host. After an unsuccessful three-day hike and a night awake outdoors with a bad stomach bug, I was taken by ambulance to the monastery master's house. The landlord was informed but still didn't understand that I wasn't ordering any food in this situation. I lay down on a bench, exhausted, and wanted to wait for my room to become available, when he got angry and threw me out. When it was just over 0 degrees, I lay there and almost fell asleep because nothing was working anymore. The innkeeper kept looking out the door, but he didn't see any reason to help.Even two years later, it was an individual experience of total human failure that still leaves me stunned. I am grateful for the staff at Cafe Rosalie who looked after me, where I was able to warm up and assisted in finding a free hotel room.

Enjoyed a late lunch on the terrace of the restaurant after a walk in St. Blasien. My wife's tarte flambée was very delicious. Thin, crispy, in the “gourmet” version, very harmonious. I had a fried rump steak with lots of salad. The meat was fried as ordered and well seasoned, the salads were fresh and crunchy.The service was friendly and the location with a view of the cathedral was very nice.

The Klostermeisterhaus burger had no taste at all, the beef was unseasoned and unsalted, the French fries were hard but completely over-salted, like my wife's. This doesn't call for repetition. Kitchen one star, service was friendly and accommodating. There is a lot of room for improvement in the kitchen!

We were accommodated there as a hiking group, the reservation in advance was very friendly and professional.The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean bathrooms.Dinner was delicious, there was international and local cuisine, good choice for vegetarians.The breakfast was good and varied; it was served very attentively when something was eaten.Very nice host couple.We would love to come back here.

After our 4th stage of the Schluchtensteig hike, I arrived with my girlfriend at the Hotel Klostermeisterhaus in St. Blasien on June 6th, 2022. Our suitcases were in the restaurant and we were told that we had a room on the third floor. At first no one wanted to help us with our luggage because it says on the internet that there is no elevator. My suitcase was brought into the room but my girlfriend's suitcase wasn't.We placed the order for breakfast the following day by 5:00 p.m. The order stated that breakfast would be served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. or by arrangement??We would have liked to have breakfast at 7:30 a.m., but unfortunately the waitress told us a clear "NO". What does by arrangement mean in this hotel?We ate on the terrace, the meal was a schnitzel with salad. The food was ok.We drank the coffee in town and came back to the hotel around 7:40 p.m. the door was already locked?? We knocked, rang the doorbell and nobody answered it. My friend then called and the waitress opened the door and asked if the other person hadn't told us that the door to the hotel was around the corner and that our key would fit? No, we were not told!!I will never visit this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of others in St. Blasien too.The service at breakfast was good and I would also like to compliment her - after all, the guest pays the wages! H. Schmidt

We ate in the restaurant... Everything was great in the summer and last Christmas... Unfortunately this year it was a complete failure...Mini duck legs and lower quality, red cabbage and dumplings ready-made products and the real hit for dessert is a ready-made waffle (Lidl 2 pieces 1.9o).That's a disgrace for the price.4 people €220It's a real shame, even if the service was nice...

I've been to this restaurant twice now and very disappointed both times. A year ago it was a roast pork that tasted terribly like something from the freezer combined with the microwave. This year it was the Christmas menu. As a starter, a game broth. In terms of taste, this was the best of the three courses for me. Unfortunately, I have to note that the vegetables in it were not al dente, but really raw. The main course consisted of 2 duck legs with dumplings and red cabbage. Sorry, but the size and taste of the drumsticks were more reminiscent of chicken legs (lower quality). However, they were nicely braised and well seasoned. The dumplings were a ready-made product. I found the dessert very bold. A day later I saw the advertised waffles, Florentine style or something like that (with churches) as a finished product at Lidl, 2 pieces for 1.99 euros, without churches.In my opinion the total price for the menu was not justified. I will refrain from visiting this restaurant again..The condition was very nice and attentive.

Although they had a sign in front of the restaurant on Saturday evening after the Advent concert saying that they were fully booked, we still got a table for two in front of a "reservation".The service was only two people, so it was a bit quicker and curt - but not unfriendly. The duck leg and sauce was great! Unfortunately, the chef still has to learn how to prepare dumplings because they were mostly raw. Price-performance but ok.
