After a long hike and very hungry, we arrived up there outside of kitchen hours and were still treated to a sensational schnitzel in a friendly and courteous manner. Thanks again!

Time seems to have stood still a bit here. The furnishings of the guest room can certainly tell many stories from times gone by... BUT: it has its charm, I really liked it. The operators were very friendly and the food was really good. I'd love to come back there

Luckily, while looking for accommodation during our hike along the Green Belt, we came across this mountain inn!Location: Great! The whole time we didn't have a view like this while eating :)Rooms/equipment: The house is not the newest but well maintained, the rooms are clean and modernly furnished - absolutely fine for the price.You have to bring your own soap for your room, which in my opinion is a waste of money.Food: Schlemmerschnitzel and Sauerbraten were both very good, and the side salad was also great.Breakfast at the buffet was also very rich with muesli and fresh fruit, so we didn't miss anythingConclusion: We were very happy that we were able to stay and eat at this inn. So many of these species in the area have closed in the last few years. That's why it's even nicer that this family business continues to exist and cares about its guests!

We stopped by spontaneously and were warmly welcomed by the boss and were able to order exclusive food: fries and currywurst. Everything tasted good with a beautiful view of the landscape.

We can't say what the food would have been like. After 10 minutes we asked the waitress for a card. Before that, the landlord and the waitress had walked past our table several times. No greeting as if we were air. We share the opinion of the bad reviews. I can't say what you have to do to receive friendly service here. Everything was reminiscent of GDR gastronomy, the ambience, the unmotivated service, and it was good that we didn't have to rely on the store!

Arrival: 2/10The journey went smoothly because this small abandoned village in dark Germany could be found using GPS and Google Maps.Room: 5/10The charm of the 50s makes me tremble in awe of the original furniture. The smell has burned deep into my clothes, so I will always have a souvenir of this wonderful vacation.Entertainment: 10/10The young landlord entertained us a lot while we were eating, as he seemed to be playing games in the back room/kitchen with very vulgar sayings.Food: 7/10The food is very rich and tasty, and for the healthy part there is even a small side salad. Only the extra mayonnaise on the fries was strange (consistency/salinity)???
