I have known Bjorn and Cindy for roughly 15 years now. We were there when they opened their B&B in 2012.It is of course their livelihood, but the way Cindy, helped by Bjorn, runs the B&B is simply special.The rooms are always well maintained. I'm not going to say that this isn't the case in other B&Bs, but this one is special to me.Apart from everything, they have done most of the renovation work themselves over the years.Dinner is always finished. I myself struggle with a number of allergies and intolerances, cooking for me is truly a challenge that few dare to take on, but Cindy even taught me tricks and tips to complement my own cooking experiences.The location of the B&B is not directly in the city center, which also provides an extra form of peace.Bjorn and Cindy also do their best to serve local dishes and drinks. When Cindy isn't cooking, she can always recommend some great restaurants in the area.Schluchsee in itself is an excellent location to explore the Black Forest. If you want to doze for a day, you can, but if you really want to walk or do something a little more natural, you can do that.If I have the chance and there is room, you will soon find me at the table there.

Super nice hosts - friendly, open-hearted and very helpful. Great location for overnight stays at Schluchsee - can only be recommended... and the mill is easily accessible on foot.

We stayed at Haus Cindy for three nights. We received a very friendly welcome and were pleased with the very large and beautifully furnished rooms. There was simply nothing missing. The breakfast and dinner were super fine. Keep it up. We will be happy to recommend you.

We had a super nice stay in the Black Forest. The B&B was in tip top condition, the room was super large and very neat. The breakfast was delicious and the evening meals were super tasty. The area is very beautiful, you can take beautiful and especially brisk walks there. Definitely worth repeating. Thank you for the good welcome and care. Rudy and Vera

Clean and spacious rooms.Nice breakfast.We also had dinner here twice. Was perfectly fine! Cindy is a good cook and an excellent hostess.We will definitely come back to discover more of the region.

B&B. Very friendly Belgian owners who will assist you with advice and assistance. Large, nice and clean rooms. The hostess is a good cook = delicious food both in the morning and in the evening. Various food and drink options in the area. Beautiful walking region and good base for visiting other villages/regions. Recommended!

We were received very kindly with a welcome drink in the cozy dining room. The family atmosphere immediately made us feel at home, partly because of Ibe, the young couple's disarming four-year-old son. Everything was almost perfect: the excellent bed, the extensive breakfast and a very tasty 3-course dinner because Cindy has had a chef's training and that is noticeable. Björn was also responsible for serving and clearing up. Everything else has been taken care of down to the last detail! This B&B is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy the good life in the Black Forest. Anyone who wants to explore can always contact Cindy and Bjorn. In short, it is wonderful to stay at Haus Cindy in and on the Schluchsee! Chris and Bea July 2020.

Super nice B&B in a beautiful region with lots to do. And with the Schwardwalzkarte, almost all activities in the area are also free! Cindy explains the system clearly to you. Highly recommended!
