We stayed in this lovely hotel for 5 nights with our dog. We felt very comfortable there in a quiet atmosphere. Even the nights were very quiet. We would also like to praise the high quality of the various dishes made with products from the region, which I love to prepare. Sufficient and wonderful breakfast buffet. The room is great. Shower and bed are perfect, very clean and comfortable. Beer is also very high quality and tasty. Can only recommend the hotel and the area. The landlord was very friendly and accommodating. I'd love to come back.

I'll summarize it briefly like this:1. Towels are not exchanged, rooms are not cleaned. When approached, they stated that they did not want to disturb their privacy.OK, if you don't want to exchange, just let us know as per the instructions. We didn't give notice.2. The food there is not good. Schnitzel from deep fryer. Fries like bones. Mayo is placed empty on the table. We only ate there once, too expensive for how bad it was. There are better things cheaper in the area!3. Baked rolls for breakfast. Coffee good, fresh from the machine (the man is pretty work-optimized). But otherwise just mediocre.4. Breakfast room...yes, I have to say it: unclean!Dead flies on the windowsill were our companions for four mornings. It was always themSame. Also crumbs on the bench and chair. There's no way it's cleaned well every morning after breakfast. Unfortunately this has to be stated.5. The young man should or has to work on his demeanor and friendliness...if he wants to.6. Renovation backlog? Because you should think about replacing some parts of the inventory before they fall apart.I'm not a tester, complainer or anything like that. I'm not particularly sensitive either, but for the price I reached certain limits.There are enough (better) alternatives there. I or we don't go there anymore.

Booked last minute and was very pleasantly surprised. The apartment was great. Clean, spacious and very tastefully furnished (modern with rural charm). The innkeeper was friendly. Quiet village (which we absolutely prefer), children's playground in front of the house, a few minutes' drive to Schluchsee. Many hiking/excursion opportunities in the surrounding area. An absolutely successful short vacation for us - thank you

Were there for dinner. Due to a lack of staff, only a small menu, but completely sufficient. The food is great. Everything is very modern and newly furnished. Nice to sit outside too.Absolutely friendly hosts, also ideal with children. Small playground with trampoline behind the house.The journey from Grafenhausen is definitely worth it, super nice and quiet place. The detour is also certainly nice for motorcyclists.Recommended without exception. Because of the opening times, it's worth taking a look at the homepage. Reservation was easy via WhatsApp.

We had a very clean, spacious, beautiful and above all quiet apartment!We received a very friendly welcome from the owners and felt like we were in good hands the whole week! The breakfast is a dream, there is nothing missing! The food in the restaurant was also very good and the waiter was a really friendly and attentive employee! Always in a good mood and always up for a joke.We have a clear recommendation 👍

We would have been happy if the owner of the hotel had shown a little more friendliness. We were already welcomed with the words, so you didn't read the email I wrote, no warm welcome or anything like that...that's how we felt tooduring the three nights in the hotel. Unfortunately we will not recommend it. A pity!

We came with 6 people and were greeted personally. Since we hadn't booked breakfast, there was a great delivery service in the hotel for our bread rolls. We were able to pick them up from 8 a.m. It's rural, very quiet, exactly what we needed. There was a playground for the children. So everything is fine.🙏

Beautiful, clean and large rooms with a balcony and a very quiet location! There is a great playground in front of the house and very friendly hosts. The Bartlehof will be our future favorite place.

Had a very nice relaxing holiday there. Family-run hotel and restaurant. Very nice hosts, rustic but clean rooms, great view, delicious breakfast and dinner if required. We'd love to come back.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Reserved through Booking. We were well received by the hotel. He gave us the keys to the room. Please note they only speak German and English.The room was well prepared. But the view from the balcony unfortunately overlooks a house.The rest of the rooms overlook the meadow.Be careful, the room is very soundproof, you hear. Noisy neighbors.Hygiene is clean in sight. Don't look under the beds.In 3 nights. 1 pass to empty the trash and put in tissues.The first evening we ate at the hotel restaurant. Very simple meal. But very expensive bill compared to the quality of the meal. The other days we have plenty. Better eaten for almost half the price. We recommend that you eat at the addresses we have shared.Full but basic breakfast. You have the photos.The setting of the hotel is charming and typical black forest.Expensive hotel compared to the services.
