Ate today at Blasiwälder Hof, food (steak and schnitzel) was very good, salad was fresh and the portion was large, service was very nice, furnishings as befits the Black Forest, rustic and cozy

Very spartan, traditional accommodation, food was absolutely okay in terms of price and quality.Plus point: dogs allowedMinus points: mouse in the room, no cleaning despite staying for 3 nights, blower in the (mini) bathroom broken, breakfast buffet very minimalist and always the same.So it's ok for a short time on a nice lake, but we won't come again

We were only there to eat.I personally didn't find the service that friendly throughout the evening.The food took a while to arrive, which is okay if it's freshly prepared.However, I don't understand why a soup and a side salad also take 30 minutes.Unfortunately the pork schnitzel wasn't a success at all.In my opinion, a schnitzel has to be extremely thin. However, this was at least 2 centimeters thick, which is not possible.There is also no drinks menu because it is currently being created.There is either no dessert menu or it just wasn't brought.The invoice is written manually on a scratch slip and added up. No real transparency because you can't understand whether everything has been billed correctly.Not great in terms of taste and service, we won't be coming back.

If you're a little more old school, this is the place for you. It's a little older but still okay. Nice owners and delicious breakfast, although the eggs could be cooked for a few minutes longer for breakfast, they are a mix between soft and soft, but the homemade jam is recommended. Dinner was also okay and we walked to Schluchsee pretty quickly. Overall, the 2 nights were completely okay.

I always read the negative reviews from our predecessors before documenting my real experiences. I can't share many of them if I go into the trip somewhat prepared.Of course the same applies here!Yes, of course there is no 5*S wellness hotel in this place... The shower head in our shower was also at half past seven.But it is an acceptable house in which to rest for a few nights and the kitchen is solid and reliable. The living room is cozy and it's also comfortable to sit outside.The boss is friendly, the service lady is even more lovable and humorous.

We visited the only restaurant in Blasiwald and our expectations were not high. We were welcomed and served by a very friendly staff. The selection was manageable and the food was really ok. We were full and at a fair price too.

We had a delicious meal! A cozy authentic Black Forest farm. You seem to go back in time here. The plates were generously filled. Huge steak and cordon bleu!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as we only ever went here to eat. If you like it rustic, cozy and the charm of days gone by, this is the place for you. The innkeepers are super nice and serve good, hearty home cooking. We always enjoy coming here.

Nice Black Forest hotel in a very nice location. Schluchsee can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Rooms with bath/shower, some with balcony. Rich breakfast. Prices are moderate. Some of the charm of the 80s look, but that's not a disadvantage. I can recommend it

Incredibly unfriendly service (boss?) in the restaurant it smells of kitchen fust and everything is unkempt and looks unclean. Luckily I don't have to spend the night in this house and I didn't drink or eat anything there either.

Very nice stay. We were very happy with everything. Great breakfast and a mega large schnitzel, super well prepared rump steak. Very friendly service and the landlady was very friendly, helpful and always had a solution for everything. The room was clean, bathroom with bathtub...everything was right for us. Yes, the building is older but it is lovingly furnished and decorated with many museum pieces from the farm that we liked. We will be happy to come back here and we will definitely be there more often just because of this great farm.
