Pleasant welcome! But...The services are limited with WiFi which does not work very well and hot water is absent after a certain amount of use by residents...The price is not at a discount however, it is regrettable!Location a bit tight, but sufficient for one night.Camping to help out!

If you translate the name it means mountain.That's just him 😉👍. On the mountain behind the community swimming pool.If you adapt, it's totally fine.We had a good pitch with electricity at a suitable price.Yes, the flat rate electricity charge in days and therefore one more than nights is a bit strange, but not too bad.Toilet facilities are a bit old, especially the tiles are not the latest fashion, but they are clean and functioning.It was great that we received vouchers for outdoor pool admission.The reception people were friendly and completely normal. I have no idea why there were bad reviews written here.Only the garbage dump opening times (garage door) are a bit unusual and also inconsistent with the notice. 🤔🤷♂️At the outdoor pool, the dress code (tight-fitting swimming trunks and no shorts) is a bit unusual and questionable as to whether it is permissible, but if you go along with it, it's completely fine.With a great slide and diving board as well as a diving tower and a great baby pool.The kiosk is also really great and good.Thank you for the lovely days.😉👍👍👍👍🙋♂️🙋♂️😎

The place can be easily and easily reached both by car and on foot. It's about a 15-minute walk from both the train station and the city center.Booking a parking space can also be done easily online. The check-in also went smoothly. I personally didn't have any problems with the staff.Even for short-term stays, such as during a long-distance hike, there is the option to wash your laundry and dry it in a dryer. They charge €5 each for both, which I consider to be quite a lot thanks to previous experience. What was particularly annoying for me was that I couldn't use the dryer because there was only one and it was occupied. So paid for free.Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not only outdated, but also not really clean. There was even mold in the shower. And if you're a woman who has to go to the toilet at night, it's best to take a flashlight with you because most lamps don't have fluorescent tubes in them and therefore there is only sparse light in the women's toilet.The general pricing is really questionable. No matter what size a tent is, you pay the same flat rate. Then there is the electricity flat rate that everyone simply has to pay whether they want to use electricity or not, something that has never been experienced before. All in all, in my opinion the price-performance ratio is completely wrong. In my case I paid €12 (€5 dryer & €7 electricity) for nothing. Would I recommend the place? Definitely no. Then it's better to shell out a little more and move into a guest room 🤷🏻♀️

Really enjoyed this campsite such a nice helpful chap on reception. Great swimming pool along side quality washing up stations and showers and toilets are ok.

Nice, relaxed terraced campsite, next to a swimming pool. Clean and spacious sanitary facilities, not very modern but functioning well. We stayed with our bus camper for three nights in a nice, secluded spot with plenty of shade. Friendly owners, but reception is not always staffed. However, you can make calls. Also a nice base for walks in beautiful surroundings with fruit growing, wine growing, hills and forests. Within walking distance of Kandern. Definitely recommended if you like a campsite that is not too 'slick'.

Very idyllic location, the place is beautiful, about 15 minutes walk to the city. Tidy and clean. Not too crowded, despite high season. It's probably because of the many bad reviews. The staff was friendly. I can't understand the bad reviews. My only drawback: quite expensive

The campsite has a beautiful hilly location with a reasonable view. The reception is usually closed (even at times when it should be open) but I recommend just calling the number on the door. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition. The swimming pool at the campsite does not belong to the campsite itself, but you do receive a free entrance ticket. Please note that only tight swimming trunks are allowed. There is not much to do at the campsite, but it is ideal as a temporary campsite.

This is obviously a municipal campsite. We arrived by bike at noon and the receptionist was supposed to open at 2:30 p.m. But when I didn't see anyone arriving, I had to call him by phone (number displayed) English necessary.The toilets are old but very clean. Positive point, the campsite gives access to the community swimming pool which is very large with a slide, diving boards, ice cream sales...Price 41 euros for one night without electricity.

One star, because of politeness, the owner made an effort but that was it. We had booked with 2 caravans for 1 night, supposedly "transit place". We would have to squeeze next to each other. In addition, the women's toilet had no light The worst thing was a trailer next to the reception. Mull outside and only covered with a film. Stink... and other things. Everything was very unkempt and run down. Absolute disgrace, €42 for 1 night plus flat rate electricity :(((

Last year I rented a permanent spot at the Hill campsite in Kandern from March 31, 2023 to December 31, 2023.In total I paid a flat rate for the time (I was alone with my small dog) and over 2400 euros.This included a 500 euro deposit.On December 31st, 2023 I gave notice in writing on time.I left the place clean (there was only one residential moil on the place) in October 23rd.To date I have not received the 500 euro deposit back. Even after repeated calls (most of the time no one answers the phone or the staff is not responsible) and repeated direct contact on the pitch.Now I have no choice but to contact my lawyer to get my money back.

The place is in a very nice (and quiet) location, but it could get a little more restless during the day in summer due to the neighboring swimming pool. But we were there shortly before the swimming season.What is unfortunately missing are the facilities on site: virtually no play facilities for children (broken, unkempt and puny), no open kiosk or at least a drinks machine. Only one of four dishwashing stations is in use (a no-go in my opinion), the other three are "out of order", just like some toilet cubicles (men). The soap dispenser and hand dryer in the men's toilets were broken and positioned in the farthest corner of the toilet room instead of at the exit. Garbage should probably be disposed of in undeclared containers in an open garage (see photo). Unfortunately there is no information about this when checking in. Price per night (almost 50 euros per night for a VW bus, 1 adult and 1 child) is almost outrageously high for this package!

Friendly staff. Sanitary facilities were clean. There are flat spots on the grass for tents, and there are also many regular guests. Free WiFi. Ordering sandwiches was only possible if delivery costs were paid. Tourist tax had to be paid separately upon arrival, but no Konus card was received.

Price/performance is catastrophic.I find it very cheeky to charge a flat rate of €7 per day for electricity!!Of the meager 4 dishwashing places, only one was open---that's not possible!!!No proper lighting in the toilets at night!The kiosk advertised on the homepage is closed!Rolls are only available for an extra €4 on top!Wastewater flat rate is also included.....for what???The chemical toilet disposal that is advertised as modern is anything but that!In my personal opinion, the operators have no idea about the business!!!

The person at the reception hardly said a word.The bill was presented to us straight away without explaining anything.There were also site fees and personal feesElectricity fees flat rate 7!!!! Euro. (We only needed the electricity for the refrigerator)And wastewater fees are a flat rate of 4 euros.... (for whatever they were charged for). So we spent €46.20 for one night including tourist tax.The pitch was nice, separated by hedgesWe didn't find a playground, just a roped off climbing house.The sanitary facilities were old, there was only dim light in the toilet at night, and there was no light at all in the washrooms. When I wanted to brush my teeth around 11 p.m., I had to do it in the dark.The price-performance ratio does not match.

The campsite is very old. Nevertheless, the sanitary facilities have to be kept clean, which was not the case. Better lighting should also be provided at night. There is no disposal option for gray water for mobile homes. These and other shortcomings that I have not mentioned here do not justify the price for one parking space per day.

Unfortunately the campsite is getting old. The new owners have a lot planned, which is also very necessary. Especially the sanitary facilities. I was wondering how invalids get down in wheelchairs. A new sanitary facility is to be built outside next year. Next to the campsite there is a very nice swimming pool with a small restaurant.I think Kandern is very beautiful. There is an Edeka shopping store. You can also eat well in Kandern.The people at reception were very friendly.
