We went there for dinner today. The waitresses were very friendly. None of us really enjoyed the food. Very little, and overpriced.

Unfortunately, the food was neither good nor cheap. Game not well done, vegetables not good, sauces have no taste and almost everything is canned and not fresh. At prices like these you expect a little more. Absolutely not recommended in Triberg.Service was okay although as we were leaving we saw a waiter eating a customer's salad with his hand.

We didn't like it at all. The price was very expensive for what the cakes and coffee were. The waiter had no desire to serve or talk to tourists. It really is much more worth going anywhere else since Triberg is close by.

I can't say anything about the rooms in advance, but I can say about the catering. The service is underground. Not only that you wait forever. So they don't have an ounce of politeness. No good appetite, not a word if everything was okay. When we then asked that we wanted to pay, the waiter came without a bill and told us how much we had to pay. When we then asked for an invoice, we were told we had seen the card. So with all due respect, please remember all the prices when you look at the menu.All in all, I can only say that we definitely won't go there again.

Very friendly service, we were there with children. Fast service, and different than expected: a fantastic Black Forest cake, home-baked. And I've eaten a lot of them. As it should be. Highly recommended.

Went for a delicious meal in the restaurant with 4. Very jovial and hospitable reception by the manager himself despite the late hour. Tasty and cozy! We go back every year.

A very nice, cute hotel. This is how I imagine a hotel in the Black Forest. Location directly opposite the Triberg waterfalls. We were warmly welcomed. Room clean, bed comfortable and very pleasant because you can hear the waterfalls. Food very tasty. Service absolutely top.

Ate at the restaurant here for dinner. Amazing food with large portions and reasonable price. Fish fillets had small bones but otherwise rest of the dishes tasted good. Service was impeccable. Black Forest cake was definitely the best we tried in Triberg! A must-have.

1. used ashtray “thrown” on the table!2. Coffee cup broken on the edge!3. Beer served in a glass of a different type of beer...well ok, but not for a hotel!4. Waiter smelled like sweat!5. Had a meal with two people, it was not possible to eat at the same time because there was at least a 10 minute difference in how the food was served6. No “Bon Appetit” requested when served for the first time7. No asking when clearing up whether it was tasty...8. No polite goodbyes...9. Absolutely unrecognizable as (hotel) service staff/no appropriate clothingStill questions?!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food and drinks because the very reluctant service probably didn't want us as guests. When we arrived, a person was sitting on the terrace with a cappuccino and explained to us that she had gotten the coffee herself because there was currently no service on the terrace - no problem for us. However, I wasn't allowed to order anything at the counter because the unfriendly waitress explained to me that this wasn't possible. Shortly after us, an older couple arrived and were served coffee and cake on the terrace. Apparently our nose wasn't good enough for the lady from the house. It's a shame when you're treated like that

I paid 170eu for my room. By the condition of the room. I’d pay maybe 70eu. The room was worn out and piecemeal together. It’s like an amateur handyman maintains the hotel. They obviously do not put any money into maintenance. The price did not include breakfast. And breakfast time is only from 8-10am. But when people started showing up at 8am. They were just starting to set up. No coffee till 8:40. After several request. And very limited breakfast. Definitely not worth what I paid.Also don’t buy the Black Forrest Cake. It was tasteless. Got better cake at the grocery store bakery across the street.I will say the location was great!

Today we ate and drank there with a bus full of passengers, but every time we come here the same whining that “the internet is not working” so they do not give you the opportunity to use your debit card. All companies within a radius of 50 meters can do this, except Pfaff. And that has been going on for a year now...

I visited this restaurant based on positive reviews. It did not live up to expectations. The host ignored us initially then when we finally realised we should seat ourselves he asked us to move into the back area for another family. We were too slow to agree with for his liking and his annoyance was palpable. We found a different table then were told we could only order from the ‘afternoon menu’ (from 14:00-18;00) even though the times were crossed out on the menu. Staff seemed impatient and irritable even though it was pretty quiet with tourists. We went across the road to Landgasthof zur Lilli where had an excellent meal with friendly efficient service.
