There could have been a refrigerator with a coffee machine. But otherwise everything is very nice. Quite remote, quiet, with outside seating. The food was very good, the restaurant and drink too. Only the service seemed somehow overwhelmed and could have been friendlier. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. My goat cheese with vegetables was extremely tasty. A big compliment to the good cuisine.

A real German guesthouse with beautiful rooms, fantastic 'burgerliche Küche' and lovely staff. Ideal for a holiday in the Black Forest or as a stopover on the way to Italy or back home.A wonderful spot in unspoilt nature. If you head south and take the Mülheim exit, a beautiful ride with fantastic views through the Black Forest awaits you. This time at the end of October, the forests in full autumn splendor, a colorful array of watercolor-like colors, as if we were there for the first time, but it seems different.If you drive to Italy the next day, you will take a shortcut to Lucerne and avoid Basel, a great start to the trip!

Very good restaurant.Based on a recommendation, we reserved a table there so we could have a delicious meal with our visitors. We wouldn't be disappointed.The food was really excellent. The service was super nice and very attentive.A very successful evening.We were definitely not there for the last time

Absolutely recommended! The starter salad was fresh and varied, the cordon bleu was perfectly prepared - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and excellent in taste. The high quality fully justifies the price. Here you are happy to pay more for such an experience!

The innovative cuisine is also seasonal. Game dishes are very tasty. Very friendly staff. I'm also happy to take a dish with me to take home, then it's worth the journey.

What a popular restaurant! Reservations required....and they eat here before 8:00 PM 😌They use a lot of local ingredients and game and cook deliciously!Absolutely recommended!

The food in the restaurant is very tasty and high quality. The staff is careful and brings the drinks very quickly. Although we came with 10 people without prior registration, they found space for us.The inn is very nicely located. Overall, highly recommended dining there.

I have been a guest at the Gasthaus Hirschen restaurant twice now. I was impressed with the food both times. I recommend the game meat, especially the saddle of venison. The starter salad is also very rich and tasty. I managed 3 courses even though I normally can't eat that much at 1 p.m., that's saying something! What I also like is that almost everything is made by myself. The game practically lives on site, the spaetzle is homemade, as is everything else. Even the chanterelles look far too uneven for the normal market, and are probably local.

Far from “off the beaten track”. Therefore longer journey on winding mountain roads. But this can also be seen as positive.Very friendly owner/GF. Food great, breakfast great! Gladly again.
