We had lunch in the garden under the vines. Food (Italian daily menu) was very tasty, as were the drinks. The service was very attentive and friendly. Simply a wonderful experience.

After my first visit to the Drei Lilien, I can hardly imagine that the reviews here aren't sorted out at the discretion of the owners, since apparently all but one person here is completely satisfied. I have experienced better food and better service in so many places in Markgräflerland / Black Forest. The service was OK, the server forgetting what we ordered wasn't a big deal, but it happened twice when we ordered. Not a big deal but the food was below our standard, if you compare the price-performance ratio with other restaurants, you pay just as much for less quality and little attention to detail as in inns or restaurants that try harder and do the same thing or charge a similar price. Examples: Sennhütte in Schwand, Rebstock in Sulzburg, former Taberna in Müllheim now Sonne in Badenweiler and much more. We were expecting French food as it was advertised online, but they offered schnitzel, sliced meat, meatballs and hash browns. The most French thing on the menu was a cordon bleu, which generally isn't a huge problem if it's done well. In this case, however, there is room for improvement.

Simply great! You have to try the Drei Lilien restaurant.I rarely write reviews, but when a holiday group consciously decides to eat at the same restaurant on two out of three evenings of a short stay, that speaks for itself.The kitchen conjures up wonderful things on your plates. On our first visit it was the beef broth with Swabian Maultaschen and a wild garlic soup as starters, the roast beef and beef stroganoff for the main course and zabaglione as desert. On the second visit the choice fell on bouillabaisse as the first course, skrei (Norwegian winter cod) as the second course and crème brulée as desert. Each of these dishes was simply fun - creatively interpreted, artfully presented and cooked to perfection.As if that wasn't reason enough to keep coming back to Drei Lilien, the restaurant also has an attentive, committed and informative service team as well as a relaxed atmosphere and a welcoming ambience.I am happy to give the Drei Lilien restaurant 5/5 stars.
