We have met again with our group of friends for almost 20 years in many corners of Germany. We have never seen anything like the group house in Muggendorf. Top facilities, great location in beautiful Franconian Switzerland, and plenty of space. Whether it's the grill, kitchen or bathrooms - the host attaches great importance to quality and cleanliness, and you can see that. And the highlight: whether delivery service from the drinks shop next door, catering in the Wolfsschlucht around the corner or the bread roll service from the village shop (even on Sundays) - the service in Muggendorf is right. Thanks to the super-friendly landlord Norbert Steeger! We'll be back!

What a great group home. Very nicely located. Modern bedrooms. Large bathrooms. Everything neat and clean. The terrace is particularly great, where you can sit outside and have breakfast in the sun when the weather is good. There is a party room, a table tennis table and a table football table. A large common room where everyone can eat together. There are coffee machines, egg cookers, an ice cube machine, dishes, cutlery, everything you need, even a water dispenser where you can choose whether you want to drink still water or mineral water. There is a kitchen that is also well equipped. B. with a convection oven, several hotplates and a shower dishwasher. There are plenty of seating options outside. Our favorite place was the island with a barbecue area where you can sit comfortably and drink a beer or two. There is also a seating area with a fire bowl where we sat in the evening and made bread sticks. There are shopping opportunities nearby (e.g. Aldi and Rewe). If you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are a few taverns and a pizzeria in town. We had a really great family weekend and are thrilled with this beautiful piece of earth.

An excellently modernized and well-maintained building with very high-quality furnishings surrounded by beautiful scenery.Very warm landlords with one or two tips if you want to explore the area on foot or by bike.For shopping it is only a few minutes walk to the shops.

The Steeger group house is a beautifully furnished house for various occasions. We were there with some friends over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The rooms are modernly equipped and offer a pleasant stay for many people. In the morning you could have breakfast in the sun on the terrace. In the evenings we sat together on the island around the grill and despite the wind and rain, the dining and party room offered enough space. In addition to the house and island, the small town of Muggendorf and the entire Wiesenttal also have a lot to offer. We'd love to come back next year.

Great location to celebrate a party. We were there for a birthday over the weekend. Beautiful location by the stream, spacious rooms with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Large common room with separate bar and kitchen.

This was the fourth time that I was a guest in the group house with a group. As always, everything was fine. It is a beautiful, clean self-catering house that really offers everything you need for a successful stay. We'll be back!

What a wonderful weekend! The group house offers plenty of space, all the equipment you need for a successful time and is in extremely good condition. Everything was clean, the house is beautifully located right on the river with its own island. The rooms have comfortable beds and the bathrooms are in top, clean condition. We were a large group of around 40 people and had enough space. Ideal for a birthday party, for example.I'm a big fan of Franconian Switzerland and would love to visit again at any time! Thanks!

Apparently you can do everything right sometimes. Great location! Beautiful apartment with very clean rooms and the bathrooms were all nice and modern.On the whole, you can go here without any worries and don't have to think about anything, as everything is on offer. Thanks.

It's not a hotel, it's like a hostel, but clean, and remote. Ideal for small to medium-sized groups (up to 40 people), events.Rooms newly furnished, very simple but functional.There are shared showers and toilets. Only bedrooms are from one person to double beds.Located right on the river.Staying from spring to the end of autumn is definitely better.Parking spaces available.There are breakfast lounges then. When you order, the supervisor prepares everything.

Great location with large, private area directly on an island in the Wisent.New in old walls: the building has been completely renovated and now has more of the character of a hotel than a group house, but is still a self-catering house (although I was "allowed" to get to know the hotels in the region 🥺🙄).
