A hotel run with love and passion. Hospitality comes first. Everything is clean and tidy. Parking lot right opposite the hotel. Very rich and tasty breakfast, fair prices. Great snack.

TOP family-run hotel.Arrive and let yourself be taken care of.It's rare to find someone so kind, competent, caring, helpful and professional.Even if the ambience and the rooms are a bit old. Everything is spotlessly clean and the friendliness of the entire staff makes up for any shortcomings. You try to make everything possible.It's rare to find such friendly service these days.The employees also seem to be treated well and fairly and radiate satisfaction and joy.So much adulation, but no, it really IS so great. If you're looking for an impersonal, sterile atmosphere and interaction, you've come to the wrong place.When we were there as a group of 7, there were 2-3 family celebrations and a group of fitters on site at the same time and the team knew everything and never seemed stressed.We had half board - breakfast buffet with scrambled egg requests and dinner.The manageable menu offers something for everyone - good, home-style cooking. Wishes are taken into account. The portions are large and tasty.

We went to the buffet in the Hainichhaus as a group of more than 40 people and it was outstanding, excellent, wonderful! The tables were beautifully set, the food was plentiful and very good, nothing was left to be desired. At the beginning of the buffet there was a humorous "entrance" from the hotel manager and one of the waitresses with music and sparklers as a little surprise. This was also very well received by the guests. It is also positive that the waitresses spoke English so that our friends from the USA could also speak to them. All in all a perfect evening! I can fully recommend the Hainichhaus and also the Rennstieg Hotel.

We went for lunch. The food is obviously freshly prepared, not commercial kitchen food, it is very tasty and plentiful. For people with celiac disease, food can be prepared gluten-free and there are even gluten-free cakes. The staff is friendly and very committed to fulfilling the guests' culinary wishes. There is both a dining room and a winter garden where you can sit and eat. From the winter garden you have a very beautiful view over the Thuringian Basin. We will definitely come back.
