Room and bathroom quite small, rather unsuitable for a longer stay. Were there for eight days and it gets rather uncomfortable in the long run. Service and breakfast, on the other hand, are first class. In addition, you have to lend a hand here and there.

Very nice location. Unfortunately the room (too small) was not recommended. The bathroom was tiny and smelled of sewage. Unfortunately, things didn't get any better when attempts were made to cover up the smell with scent diffusers. It was only bearable with the windows wide open. This definitely needs to be changed, otherwise the room cannot be rented! I don't want to experience that again. The service always tries to fulfill all wishes. It is completely incomprehensible that there are some guests who raid the buffet before the specified breakfast time. The staff can't add more quickly! But every effort is made. All in all I liked it but some rooms still need some work. In any case, I would like to stay in a better room next time I stay and hope that this will be taken into account accordingly.

We had a great time at the beach nest. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, service was great. The ladies who prepare breakfast do a great job and are so patient with some rude guests who raid the buffet before it starts, even though not everything has been put out yet. Breakfast super fresh, sufficient and tasty. Something for every taste. My highlight every morning is freshly chopped fruit salad with so much great fruit. Not just cheap apples.The beach nest is only recommended. Super central and free parking is also available.

I was in the beach nest for a week from July 28th.At first I was thrilled by the location.Short distances, whether to the beach, to the bus stop or to the restaurants, just great.I had a room with a 1.40 bed, I could choose.A nice large room and the bathroom was sufficient for one person.The room could be reached via the side entrance and via a narrow staircase to the first floor.The breakfast was varied and left nothing to be desired.Friendly family and you felt comfortable.If I go on holiday there again, I would book there at any time.

After 8 years I was finally back in norddeich, the guesthouse is super central, it's less than 5 minutes from the dike, it's only about 10 minutes from the train station, the rooms are clean and comfortably furnished, the breakfast was varied, tasty and always served plenty of refills. I would choose this guesthouse again at any time

The guesthouse is centrally located from the beach. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and super tasty. We felt very comfortable and recovered well over the 4 days. We will come back in any case.

Super loving accommodation. It always depends on what you expect from holiday accommodation. So what counts for me is cleanliness, location, ambience and the feel-good character. Everything is great here! The house itself is getting a bit old, but is currently being lovingly renovated. A great Nordic-modern concept is created.Admittedly, the rooms are a bit noisy, but after a day at the sea you're so tired that a few noises don't matter. The beds are comfortable and the owners are super friendly and loving.The bathroom was small, but completely sufficient for one person. As I said, if you're looking for luxury accommodation, this is the wrong place. But I found a guesthouse with a lot of heart and loving care, exactly what I was hoping for for my vacation here!The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.In just a few minutes you can reach the dike/sea and restaurants are not far either.

My husband and I were guests at the Strandnest over Easter. The room was ok, bathroom was a little small, but sufficient. We had a nice stay. Breakfast was rich and good. It's my husband's birthday today, the table was beautifully decorated this morning with a red rose and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Great gesture, it was a successful, nice surprise, we were really happy. The staff was very nice and helpful. We'd love to come back 👍🤗

Simple, clean B&B hotel near the beach with a very good service team that prepares a pretty good breakfast buffet every morning. If it's convenient, we'll be happy to check in here again. We liked it.

Room 12 is definitely too small for the price. It is one of the smallest rooms in my 12 years of field service. Still, at least it was clean. The large closet is totally unnecessary here and I would have been more happy with a suitcase shelf and one or two coat hooks. The toilet should also be interesting to handle if you are taller than 1.75 or weigh over 80 kilos.The breakfast, however, was really good. Lots of choice, lots of fresh things, also warm, great. There's nothing wrong with that. The contact with the owner and the staff was also great and always friendly.I can't speak for the rest of the rooms here, but room 12 isn't worth it. I wouldn't stay there again.

The small hotel is nice, very central and absolutely friendly. The rooms are clean and functionally furnished. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The only disadvantage is the lack of soundproofing in the room. You can hear the television and voices from the next room.

We were there with four adults and 1 small child. (2 double rooms, 1 single room)The only positive thing was the breakfast if you were early, then it was plenty for those who came later, well...The staff speaks and understands little German/English. Reception not manned, if something is wrong you can only reach the boss by phone.The single room is like a storage room (less than 8 square meters) with a mini bathroom.In the double room on the street there were broken pleats (windows as big as shop windows) and roller blinds not suitable for darkening. In the bathroom there was foil on the window, which provided a clear view into the bathroom when the light was on.However, this was changed promptly, albeit provisionally.The house is very old.The price-performance ratio is disproportionate, especially compared to other accommodations in Norddeich!Renovation is expensive, but a bucket of paint on the walls would make it look cleaner and friendlier.The house is tidy but it could definitely be cleaner when it comes to cleaning the rooms.Some bathrooms have probably been renovated but are of a lower category.The pictures posted here or on Booking by the operator do not match our rooms - it's a shame we feel deceived and disappointed.

Family vacation with 4 adults and a toddler. Have booked 3 rooms. Room facilities are very outdated. The whole house is in great need of renovation. Unfortunately no personal contact on site. Only telephone contact with the operator. Kitchen staff only speak German and English poorly. Unfriendly. Breakfast buffet ok
