Closed as a normal restaurant, but can be used as a guesthouse with breakfast and for closed events. Very friendly owner, the whole property is extremely modern, spacious rooms. The location on the edge of the forest with a wide view over mountain meadows with absolute silence is impressive.It would be nice if there was a refrigerator with self-service drinks so that you don't end up left high and dry in the evening. And it will apparently take a while before the idea of vegetarian or vegan food makes it to the highest peaks of the Ore Mountains.... ;-)

The hiking home is located in a beautiful landscape, peace and a beautiful view are guaranteed, the rooms are modernly equipped, walk-in shower, small refrigerator and a room safe, breakfast can be taken on a terrace or in the winter garden with a view of the Czech mountains, friendly and very helpful hosts,

My review is short and sweet, as empty as it is in front of the building, it was also empty inside so there was no point in going there, you should at least remove the advertising signs

Caution! I wanted to spend my 60th birthday here with my family. We were there in person two months in advance and arranged to book 5 rooms for two nights and catering. When we called 4 days before the event, we were told with flimsy reasons that the rooms had been allocated elsewhere.

We would like to go out to eat at the Oberjugel hiking home during our vacation. Due to Corona, I tried calling because unfortunately there are no opening times online. When I connected to the telephone, I was referred to a cell phone number, but unfortunately it is not valid at all. So today I went out on skis, without success. The restaurant and probably also the holiday apartments are closed until January 23rd, 2022 due to Corona. A note on the answering machine instead of an invalid cell phone number would have been beneficial. Corona makes everything difficult, but it doesn't get any better for the loyal holidaymakers in Johanngeorgenstadt.
