Perfect for holidaymakers who are simply looking for relaxation. Breakfast is great, there is parking space for bicycles and the staff are friendly. Gladly again.

This is where a wish-free and happy package comes true for everyone!First of all, the lodge impresses with its charming old look and large outdoor area, which provides plenty of open space on the property.The staff is super friendly and tries to make every wish possible if you express it. I also think it's really cool that the teachers from the surf school stop by every now and then and you can have a great chat with them: all in all, there's just a relaxed and relaxed atmosphere among each other!The food (both breakfast and dinner) is varied, but one thing always remains the same: it is super delicious!!If you can't make it to the right meal time, you have the option of taking care of yourself in the "self-service kitchen" - a great idea so you can always remain flexible!On the terrace and in the garden you can relax after strenuous days and there are great opportunities for children to let off steam outside in the area.I got to know the Watt-Lodge as a water sports enthusiast when I was in Norddeich with friends to kite at the surf school and we were thrilled! When I found out that you could also come with school classes, I was even more happy because I am a teacher myself. So I can speak from the perspective of both a private person and a school class after being there with this one! Both times were great!I will definitely come back and look forward to my next visit to the Watt Lodge!

An accommodation that is highly recommended and impresses with the charm of an old East Frisian farm. Sometimes you need a little patience, but the staff is warm, caring and makes almost everything possible.Particularly worthy of mention is the delicious and rich breakfast, which ensures a good start to the day. I would be happy to come back at any time.

We were also booked there with 11 people for a weekend! From 1:00 p.m. our booking email said we were allowed to check in. When we arrived it said the rooms hadn't been cleaned yet because there was a school class in front of us, no excuses, nothing. Lady on site on September 13th, 2024 Reception Arrogant from above. At 3:00 p.m. it was said that we still weren't finished and it would probably take until 5:00 p.m.That's how an afternoon was already over. The whole time we sat in the garden. When I asked why they were so unfriendly, they said they were arrogant again, no, we had nothing, we were sitting in the wrong place, the guests couldn't get through, which was wrong. WHAT were we there??No guests??We were preferred to be seen in the back area, that's how we all felt.2 of our friends had mold on the wall (we have taken pictures separately).The breakfast lady on Saturday was very nice and friendly That also needs to be mentioned. Incidentally, we were able to meet 4 other guests that weekend who were anything but positive. It's a shame we just didn't fit in with the people there, that's how we felt. I (we) definitely won't recommend this to anyone else.

Absolutely not recommended for school classes. The staff is completely overwhelmed and therefore very unfriendly. The four-bed rooms with bunk beds are very tiny and the distance to the sanitary facilities is quite long. Had to eat in two shifts because there wasn't enough space to sit. That's why it was very difficult for both shifts to eat in peace.The evening and lunch were delicious on all days and the quantity was sufficient.

The operators knew that three school classes were coming, so they should prepare accordingly. But unfortunately we were greeted unfriendly and the unfriendliness didn't change throughout the week. The breakfast was so-so, there was no sign of the described buffet and even less of the advertised scrambled eggs. The rooms have a certain flair of the old farmhouse (that's also great) and the bathrooms in the rooms (not all rooms have them) are nice and modern, but that's all you can call positive. The mattresses were soft and so worn out that you could feel the springs in the back of your back.

I really can't understand some of the recessions here. There will always be constant complainers.The Wattlodge is a great place to stay and offers great value for money.I have now spent my second holiday here and was thrilled both times.The rooms are very clean and spacious. Each room has a special flair and differs from the normal “hotel flair”.The breakfast is really great and offers something for every taste.We'll definitely be back!

The WattLodge is further away and quiet from Norddeich in the north. It has cozy, clean rooms. It offers parking spaces for motorhomes and a tipi hostel (tent pitch under the roof). There is a great garden behind the house that you can use. The breakfast is very plentiful and you can have scrambled and fried eggs freshly prepared. Good price-performance ratio. It was great, I'd love to come back.

My room (Chile) was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The furniture is (as far as I can tell) all self-made. The bathroom was also very spacious, clean and modern throughout.The breakfast was really great, lots of choice with fresh and high quality ingredients. No cheap rolls and even homemade jam. Guest requests are also taken into account. I felt really welcome and comfortable here.I can definitely recommend it and will come again.

We were there over Pentecost 2024 and would not book it again. We felt like we were in a youth hostel. Spiders on the ceilings in the bathroom, shower leaking. Breakfast was definitely not good. Very little choice and the quality was also poor. You are offered half-raw scrambled eggs and if the mini buffet is empty, you will only be refilled if you specifically ask. Reception was only staffed upon arrival, otherwise you never saw anyone there, at least not us. It's also quite far out of town, so you'll need a car.

All in all very spartan, heating worked great, shower was good. Unfortunately it's about 15 minutes away from the first fast food restaurant, and the breakfast takes some getting used to. Price-performance ratio is not right

My son was on a school trip to the Tipi Hostel. Unfortunately, the photos on the Internet do not entirely correspond to reality. The barn is dusty, cold, drafty and dark. The whole thing looks pretty careless and makeshift. The children first had to remove numerous spiders and webs. There is no insulation/insulation whatsoever.The mattresses were too thin and looked more like cushions for garden furniture. There wasn't enough for everyone. My son froze at night despite sleeping bag and thick clothes. Maybe it was because of the great stone floor. Pretty cheap. The food wasn't that great either. I tried to complain over the phone and after 10 seconds they hung up and then the phone went off. Of course, you can also deal with criticism in this way. Almost half of the children had a cold or a stomach bug after their stay. My son had a fever and bronchitis. He is totally disappointed and would never want to go there again. Absolutely not recommended
