Nice welcome, spacious rooms, pure nostalgia with slightly cracked floors. The breakfast with the baked rolls was quite okay, but a piece of tomato or cucumber would have improved the whole thing a little. Everything quite clean

We were 5 people at short notice and the nice gentleman had a good solution because there was still a small room. There are 2 lounges. The breakfast is good. I think everything is great, it's just not that bling bling but rather older and that's the cool thing

If you absolutely need glittering frills and bling on your vacation, this is not the place for you. Heart and charm are the focus here; also the owner, who was very hospitable and helpful.The fact that there was no television in the double room was unusual, but the "TV room" was all the more rustic and "like Grandma and Grandpa used to have."Gladly again!!😊

The rooms are nostalgic and very clean. We had a great night's sleep in our bed. If you love the peace and quiet and still want to get to the sights quickly, Bad Grund is the right place for you. The host is a real original. He knows the whole region incredibly well and is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is served as requested. If we go on holiday in the Harz again we will definitely stay at Haus-Martha.

Spend the night in the 1950s museum. Very friendly older gentleman who runs the guesthouse. Nice welcome, time has stood still in the house in 1950. Beds are ok, water is warm, everything is clean, area is great, absolute peace. Great value for money, what more could you want. It's fun, something different.

There were two of us.The very friendly hostel host greeted us personally in the evening, showed us the room and asked us what we would like for breakfast.For dinner he picked out three recommendations for local restaurants for us. His knowledge of the area is generally extremely good; he has lots of good tips for things to do in the region.The room decor may seem a bit dated, and maybe it is, but the rooms are super clean; the guesthouse is quiet and I felt welcome here as a guest.And if you expect super-chic luxury furnishings with a minibar and spa area for 53.50 euros including breakfast for two people, I can't help you any more.I give a clear recommendation.

Despite its age, the landlord runs this small guesthouse extremely correctly, accommodating, friendly and helpful. The junior suite in the attic is very spacious, lovingly and nostalgically furnished and far exceeded our expectations given the low price. Comfortable beds, quiet location. After we asked by phone whether we could get something to eat because of our late arrival in town, the landlord called the local restaurants and announced us. Even a suggestion for a tour through the Harz Mountains was created individually for us. It couldn't be better.
