Nice little owner-managed hotel. Very good breakfast, rooms clean, well-kept, partly older but well-kept furniture and new renovated side by side. We felt very comfortable! Einbeck can be reached quickly. Very nice owners!

Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Visually it's not entirely up to date, but it's also a matter of taste.Great breakfast. Gladly again.

I travel a lot by bike and it is normal for me that some facilities do not allow me to keep my bike in the room - ok, I understand that. Here, when I asked if I could take the bike to the room (I leave early), the owner actually got offended and repeated indignantly - to the room??? I was offered to leave my bike outside around the corner :) Then, in a very rude way, she asked if I was staying or going back to the city to look for something else? Ultimately, the bike was left in the garage, but the garage was not available until what time I wanted to leave. The restaurant is not open. There is Wifi, but basically no internet. I don't recommend it. Only for 1 night for the desperate. The functioning of such a facility and, above all, such an approach to customers in the 21st century is unimaginable to me.

I had a bicycle breakdown very close to the hotel and was very kindly looked after and supported by the owner! I was able to mend my plate and was even given an air pump so that I was taken care of for the further (four) plates. Thank you very much!

Unfortunately we were only here for 2 nights. We would have liked to stay longer but the start of the week was getting closer and closer. It's a shame that the hotel will no longer be run by the current owner. I can only hope that the location will remain with us for a long time in the future. The breakfast was really great and was also individually arranged.Keep it up!

I don't recommend this place. Despite making a reservation in advance, I found the hotel closed, no one answered the phone, after almost three hours of waiting, the owner showed up and saw nothing wrong with the situation. Another disadvantage is the lack of internet. I.e. it is available but it doesn't work 🤦‍♂️ .Exceptional lack of respect for guests

The rooms are getting old, but the landlady's warmth makes up for it. The location is unbeatable, as is the price. A lovingly prepared breakfast completes the offer. The Clus is not a holiday hotel, but it is a great alternative for business travelers.

The hotel is (in my opinion) a typical German hotel that offers excellent value for money. The rooms are cheap (1 person, two nights incl. breakfast €100), but decent. The sanitary facilities are clean, the furniture is a bit outdated by Dutch standards, but it does what it's supposed to do. Mattress is fine (hard side, but personally fine). The breakfast is fine. It was now quiet in the hotel, so it may be different when it is busier, but I was served the full breakfast at the table. It consisted of a pot of tea (or coffee), fresh orange juice, a few German buns and slices of bread, various sweet toppings and slices of cheese and sausage to choose from. To complete breakfast, I got freshly fried eggs one day and freshly boiled eggs the next, and finally a piece of fruit or a cup of yogurt. In short, again excellent value for money. The owner is very nice and is there for you. Finally, I was even able to park the motorcycle in one of the garages instead of on the street. As far as I am concerned, the hotel is an excellent base for holidays (in my case tours through the Harz). The location is located along a busier road outside the village (approximately 3.5 km walk to the center).
