Sometimes spontaneous decisions lead to the best experiences. That's how it was this Sunday afternoon. We actually had another destination in mind, but since all the seats there were already taken, we ended up here by chance. To our surprise, the cozy garden terrace was almost full here too. After a short wait, we managed to get a nice spot in the countryside and were given a very friendly welcome. We really just wanted to have a piece of cake, but as we browsed the menu we became curious. We were expecting typical beer garden cuisine, but what happened next really surprised us in a positive way. The perfectly braised ribs in their own broth, seasoned with a spicy flavour, with a fine mashed potato was simply brilliant. The burger was also excellent – the patty was homemade, the bun was super tasty. We were particularly impressed by the Mediterranean salad. It wasn't just a standard salad with a few olives and sheep's cheese, but really creative: with green peas, couscous and a very selected dressing. Even the fries and mayo were really good. The waitresses were alone in the afternoon, so it took a while for the food to arrive, but that wasn't a problem at all given the great atmosphere and the lovely space outside. Every minute longer there was well spent.A really good spot for really good food at absolutely fair prices. We'll definitely be back!

We stopped here for a bike stop and sat down on the shady, cozy terrace. Having a little something to eat is highly recommended, plus cold drinks and friendly service round off the stop to our satisfaction. The place with the monastery, which is unfortunately closed, is very idyllic.

Food was great. However, there is a deduction for the service. The outside of the glass bottle was moldy on the labels and the crown cap. We then let them go back and wanted another drink. We tried to do this as discreetly as possible so that the other guests didn't notice, but the response was immediately unfriendly and said that it was because of the weather and that the contents of the bottle were fine. The second bottle was also moldy, but not quite as bad as the first. Further contact with the waitress was very cold. We felt really uncomfortable and just wanted to eat quickly and leave. To make matters worse, we were charged for the drink at the end, which we only noticed after we left the restaurant.

We were traveling on our bikes and stopped here. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and were allowed to store our bikes in the garage. The service is very attentive and courteous. The food is very tasty, many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Price/performance is top! We'd love to come back.
