The Voss family is super nice and very concerned about the well-being of their guests. The rooms are well-kept, the shower room is timelessly modern and clean, the whole thing is rounded off by a wooden floor which is a flattering treat for the feet. If you're looking for peace and seclusion, you've come to the right place! Out of the front door and straight into nature, walks in the forest through mountains and valleys on well-marked hiking trails are really fun here. Bergfrieden is a clean, welcoming and quiet guesthouse. The very helpful, lively and friendly owner welcomes you with an excellent breakfast.If you are looking for peace and quiet in contact with nature, this is the right place for you.We spent some great days in the guesthouse and all the owners should have the kindness, peacefulness and humanity that they have.I can only recommend it.

This guesthouse impresses with its location and coziness.We were on a short trip in this small, family-run guesthouse. Great starting point for hikes. Beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty.Unfortunately far too short for us.But we'll be back...😃

A very cozy guesthouse with incredibly kind and helpful hosts. The breakfast was very tasty and varied. We spent a lovely weekend there with our friends and dogs and would love to come back!

Highly recommended. The location is very good for going hiking or spending a relaxing time in idyllic surroundings. The rooms are lovingly furnished and clean, so you feel at home. Particularly noteworthy is the hospitality of the hostess and her family. They run the guesthouse with a lot of passion. Dogs are also welcome guests there.

We have had a completely relaxing weekend in the Sauerland and that is partly due to the wonderful accommodation.Very idyllic location with a great view. Very cozy guesthouse with clean and well-equipped rooms. Very good beds. The service of the hostess and her family alone deserves 5 stars. Dogs are also welcome guests.We will be traveling back to the Sorpetal to Pension Bergfrieden next year.

Great guesthouse that really leaves nothing to be desired! We were there as a large group and had a lovely weekend with delicious food, a great breakfast, and a great hike followed by a covered wagon ride. Dogs are also absolutely welcome.We are looking forward to a repeat 😊

By far the best guesthouse I've ever been to! We stayed at Pension Bergfrieden as a large group and it was an all-round successful weekend trip. Great food, very comfortable rooms, a great view and great hiking trails. The innkeeper is super nice and takes care of everything, just like her son. You immediately feel at home and receive a very warm welcome. If you want to spend a great holiday with lots of relaxation and beautiful nature, you've come to the right place. Dogs are also welcome here. If I could give more stars I would definitely do it 🤩Thank you for the great weekend with you!

We had a very nice stay as a couple with two small dogs. The hotel is very quiet, as the name suggests. The owner is very nice and there was nothing wrong with the room. We will definitely come back again.

We spent 4 days here with our Bernese Mountain Dog, a quiet guest house on a non-main road so only destination traffic. Owner is very helpful. An excellent breakfast with a wide choice. Beautiful walking area. Will definitely come back
