More than recommended!We ate at the Wollmeiner restaurant with 4 adults and 3 children last week.Every dish was excellent. We're happy to pay €2.3 more for this because the quality and preparation is absolutely right!Big praise to the head of the house, who still cooks here himself.The service, mostly handled by the friendly senior manager, was also very (child) friendly!It's very unfortunate that we weren't able to eat there a second time during the holiday week because not many bookings were accepted due to a lack of staff.But for the next visit to Sauerland!We'll be back! Definitely!

Wonderful, we'll definitely be back. The food there is in a league of its own, the rooms are beautiful and the location is great. Forests, meadows, streams are all a dream for every nature lover.

The website and the reviews inspired us to go to the inn because we were in the area. When we got there, the opening times were unfortunately not the same as those on the website where it says that there is lunch from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant now only opens at 5 p.m. That should perhaps be changed. Due to the fact that we only drove a few minutes and that the reviews are otherwise really great and the catering industry isn't exactly having an easy time of it, there is Still 5 stars from me and if we're in the area again, I'll definitely come back again from 5 p.m. to try out the food.

We ate there with the whole family over Easter. Tarte flambée, soup, fresh trout from our own farm (sensationally large), various schnitzels, Brucetta and a rump steak were all fantastically prepared to perfection. The accompanying sauces were homemade. Someone here knows his craft. A pleasure, even if it is a bit out of the way. In addition to the trout farming, which the senior looks after, they also smoke their own salmon. There aren't many restaurants where you know in advance that you won't experience a failure. We were recommended by friends, have now been here for the third time and it looks like we have become regulars. In the colder seasons there is a cozy oven in the restaurant, which makes it very cozy. The equipment is new and very tastefully decorated.The prices are also more than attractive. A Krüstchenschnitzel with salad was around €15. We are absolutely thrilled. A recommendation.

A real insider tip. This small, rustic inn is located at the end of Oberrarbach, a tranquil village in the Rar Valley. The kitchen is classic but also modern. From SchniPo to tarte flambée to burgers... something for everyone.A clear “thumbs up”!We are already planning our next visit 😀

Overall, we are very impressed with the Gasthaus Wollmeiner.Pre-booking by telephone worked very well and is recommended.The fountain in front of the inn exudes an inner peace and serenity, which is also reflected in the inn.We were greeted very friendly by the boss and shown to our table.We ordered the drinks immediately and received them promptly.My children received wonderfully colorful water glasses.There is a nice children's menu and adults don't miss out either.The children both chose fish fingers with boiled potatoes/chips and applesauce and I chose the grill plate with braised onions, herb butter and salad. Instead of the baked potato, I took fries for once.We enjoyed the food very much. The composition really pleased the palate and the boss asked us every now and then if everything was okay.And what should I say? Not only was it okay, it was simply a sensationally successful evening. The cozy atmosphere in the dining room, the friendly, flexible and attentive boss, and the delicious food made this evening worth repeating.We would love to come back and would like to thank you for your hospitality.
