This restaurant was recommended to us by friends, but we were sceptical at first as we had had some pretty bad experiences there a few years ago.|In the end, we stopped by and really enjoyed it! …

We had a really nice hiking trip to Schwarzwald and stayed at Todtnauer Hütte for 3 nights with 5 people and a dog.Really friendly staff! If needed something can go in their fridge in the kitchen. The breakfast is lovely, there is enough choice and nice warm served bread :)The rooms are spacious and clean and you can take extra towels/toilet paper on the corridor if needed. We put our sign out to clean the room, but that didn't seem to happen. I don't know what went wrong there but it was not an issue because we just needed some extra toiletries and got it ourselves from the corridor. The food for dinner was lovely and not pricey at all. They do close quiet early for dinner though so be in time.

Fantastic place ran by fantastic people in a fantastic location. We stayed 3 nights - a family of 4 - at the end of August as the culmination of a 3 week road trip. Perfect place to hike and chill before heading home.

This place is truly amazing. We stayed here for just one night as a stopover on our trip to Italy and checked in late. …

We ordered 2 soups and they were good. Some of the waiters speak English which is a plus! They are friendly and you don't have to wait a lot to have your drink or food.Nicely located.Recommend to stop and enjoy the views with drinks and food. Today we had to rush a bit but definitely we will return.

My friends and I spent two nights at the Cottage during a warm weekend in June. The facilities were sufficient for our short stay; clean bathrooms and tidy rooms with incredible views of the mountains. But what particularly made our stay so pleasant was the hostess! She was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Even though she didn't speak any english she took a lot of interest in finding out where we all came from and used our country of origin to address us when wishing good morning and night :)The cottage also has a great selection of organic teas and jams all locally sourced from nearby businesses and everyone in our (seven people) group got addicted to the freshly baked bread served for breakfast :)Hiking and mountain biking paths were easily accessible right from the entrance of the cottage - I'm definitely coming back here next year!

Unique view Being in a hut and still having the comfort of a hotel is great. The rooms are large, comfortable beds that are not too soft. Very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was plentiful with home-baked bread, no rolls (we are up on the Feldberg), Rürei, different cheeses, sausage. There was also muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, etc. The coffee is delicious! I'll be back, thank you.

I had the opportunity to stay for a few nights and make use of the amenities. This was my first time in Germany and it was AMAZING. The staff made me feel at home, the food was great and the views from the rooms in breath-taking. I can't wait to go back.
